    Basically if you want to observe it in the form of continuity equation that means ❗LHL(x--->a-)=RHL(x--->a+(but not equal to) f(a)(x=a)❗. So this thing makes it removable dis CTS. And vice versa of non-removable.

    Still confused 😅. I have 3/x and it’s different from all these examples. Does it have a removable or non removable discontinuity? If anyone sees this could you explain pls I’m struggling here 😭

    • @gio3798
      @gio3798 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      hey queen, i just solved this problem and im sorry if im late. but basically, there is no removable discontinuities for 3/x cause you cant factor anything, therefore, they don't exist (DNE). there is one nonremovable discontinuity which of course would be 0. You can't get rid of it!

    • @angelmendez-rivera351
      @angelmendez-rivera351 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are just doing algebra, then you use factorization, as in the video. If you have learned calculus, though, then you should find the limit. If the limit exists, then it is removable.
