    Loved it. But also I’m your target audience. As a fellow crocheter it is refreshing to see original ideas that are not regurgitated from tictok or others. Absolutely getting the market ebook

    Thank you! I am your target demographic and I love these ideas. I truly do not like to make amigurumi or little kid stuff. I love to crochet hats and scarves and will be looking through your patterns for other ideas. I am American living in Korea, so craft events aren’t a thing here so I’ll probably be donating my creations. But I just love to make useful items. You’ve def put a lot of thought into who you want to attract to your booth. Kudos!!

      I am the same way, honestly. I do not enjoy making amigurumi even though it sells really well.
      I hope you can find a way to sell your items, though! At least to pay for your supplies. Yarn is expensive😝

    Excellent video. Thank you. Your mesh market bag is my favourite thing to make in between other makes to "cleanse the pallet". It's relaxing, fun to make, highly useful, and a great gift. I've made so many of them I've lost count. All your patterns are lovely and well thought out. I'm grateful for this market video and look forward to more.
    I'm moving to Florida soon from California and the climate in Florida seems tricky to me in regards to crochet items. Beanies, scarves, sweaters, etc will not be desirable there so I am trying to come up with new items to make. Looking at your bag patterns is an inspiration because they are still desirable in a hot climate. Lacy lightweight shawls might also work because you often freeze in restaurants because of the AC. Anyway you got me thinking. ❤

      Thank you! I'm so glad you've enjoyed my Mesh Market Bag❤️ Yes, hats and scarves will not be good for Florida. It sounds like you are on the right track! Shoot me an email if you need help brainstorming for ideas. I love helping people figure out what to make for their customers☺️

      Hi Dana! Such a wonderful video. I don’t do markets or sell my stuff but on occasion someone asks me to. But I enjoy hearing about markets a stuff. I am also in NC. Where do you do most of your markets? I think I remember you saying you are in western NC. I am in central (near Fayetteville). I made that beautiful crossbody granny bag and love it but I just have to put my liner in. Thanks for sharing what you do and for being up front with prices. People just don’t get it when it comes to pricing. Anyway, thank you

    I LOVE your video and advice. Huge thank you from this beginner. I have a question about the "Show Stopper". I don't have a big item that I can sell (first market tomorrow). Could I possibly put something out with a tag that says "Not for sale, custome orders available"? I mainly make Plushies.

    • @DaysCrochet
      @DaysCrochet  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You could! Or you could simply make the price so high, it's less likely to sell if you're wanting to keep it for the showstopper at later events. My showstoppers are more expensive, but if it sells, it sells lol. That's why I usually have multiple showstoppers. Just in case! ☺️ I'm not one to turn down a sale😂

    Hi. How do you determine how much to charge? I was wondering if it matters what area of the country you sell in? Thank you!

    • @DaysCrochet
      @DaysCrochet  ปีที่แล้ว

      I give myself a flat hourly rate of $10 an hour + the cost of supplies at the very least. Then I take into account what my customers are willing to actually pay. If they're willing to pay more, I of course charge more. For example, my hats should only be around $20 by my pricing method. But because my customers are willing to pay $30, that's what I charge. I hope this helps!

  • @Creativelafifina
    @Creativelafifina 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    You need to charge more. Double.

    • @DaysCrochet
      @DaysCrochet  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My customers aren't willing to pay that and I don't want to hold onto my inventory. I wish I could!
