That’s what a good partner does! My husband runs home for things I forgot and helps me set up and tear down. We’ve been married for 39 years and just this year crafting again to sell at three shows starting this weekend. He’s a keeper!

I tend to not prep much inventory mid-season, actually! I try to prep as much as I can before and then work my way through it! That is unless I sell out of something early on, like chickens!

I really love watching your market vlog videos! I just had my first market this weekend and it went so incredibly well, I rewarded myself by purchasing your beanie pattern of course! I made one for my mom using the bernat velvet in mocha and one for my 4 year old in the pink, and they are just so gorgeous! When you’ve completed the hat were do you put the seam where you join w/ slip stitches, on the side fold of the beanie or centered in the back? I’m not sure what looks best.. and for anyone debating on getting the pattern do it! It is so easy and works up so fast! Really love them. ❤️❤️☺️

Really love your videos 💚 they are definitely building up my confidence! One question I had, I know your videos are primarily about your markets or market related but I’m really struggling with gauge (I do Amigurumi ) So if you have any free time or need a video idea if you could do one about gauge I’d appreciate it so much , I really want to be able to make a baby hat for my son. It’s the teddy bear one from crochet dreamz. But I can’t get the size right😭 even after I measure it and it’s right once I finish it won’t go on his head it’s so frustrating thank you so much girl 💚 also wanted to mention I love your vibe and energy so much!! This was nice, Camryn. I love coming with you to shows. Off topic here, but do you have problems with theft and how do you keep track of your inventory?
Personally, I do not have very many issues with theft. I'm sure it has occurred without me knowing at some point, but there are many factors going into theft prevention that occur non-overtly.
I track my inventory by doing a complete walkthrough pre-season, noting down exactly what I have and how many. Then, I mark every sale I make as I go through a season. Finally, I do another walkthrough at the end, making sure I properly accounted every sale.

Hi there! Many places don't have them every weekend, but rather seasonally! Usually there will be specific locations that do 2-3 months of summer markets, somewhere else that does some fall ones, and so on. The best places to look are places that operate more seasonally, such as pumpkin patches, Christmas tree places where many families go, and so on!

What's the farthest you'll travel for a craft show?
I definitely prefer to stay local! Usually within an hour's drive. But, there is a potential show about 10 hours away I am considering doing for next year!

Her chickens are definitely bigger than mine, too. I was selling mine for $16 or 3/$45 this summer but upped them to $18 for my fall shows and they sold fine at that price.

They are Oak and Marlow! I make the medium size and sell for $18 :) The sizing difference could be down to stuffing practices, or perhaps tension!
Do you keep track at the end of the year of which items you sold the most of?
I tend to take inventory seasonally, actually! And that does help me track what is selling best, but I can usually gage that as I work through a season!
