A difficult passage on the treacherous River Severn estuary, not recommended for inexperienced narrow-boaters.
Frank, an experienced narrowboat owner, and who in 1989, brought the 38 metre, 230 ton Dutch barge Wye Invader round the south coast, up the Severn Estuary then up the River Wye to Hereford.
Frank has navigated the Seven estuary many times since and narrates the passage explaining the conditions as they go, the decisions he makes as they travel and, the pitfalls and dangers.
