I sing songs to my birds before they go to sleep, I wish them a good night and as I speak they grind their beak, close their eyes until I’m done they open their eyes, I put soothing music before they go to sleep to make sure they’re relaxed, they used to get scared with the shadows when they were being cover, now they’re used to them.
Alen, we lost our 12-year old budgie 2 weeks ago. He was my best pal, & I would like to get a memorial headstone like I see for Cookie….can you tell me where you got that one ? Our bird & Cookie could have been twins….

The main tip for teaching your budgie to talk is that you need a lone budgie. If you have more than one budgie, it is unlikely to learn to speak.
I always fed my budgie seeds and often gave him veggies as well. I didn't know back then that seeds were less healthy, more fattening and not a balanced diet.

I feed my finches 25% dry seeds 25% sprouted seeds and 50% fruits and veggies.

How do you teach budgies to eat different fruit and veg? Mine are happy with pellets and seed but will not eat any veg other than sweet potato and lettuce. They are absolutely not interested in fruit.
Does pairing up budgies affect their ability to learn words? Does the sex of the budgie affect their learning?
When you eat try giving them the food (DO NOT GIVE THEM CHICKEN BONES CHICKEN OR FISH ETC..)only give them fruits rice salty cakes and vegetabkes i know they will be confused when seeing the new food just leave the food in their cage and they will eat it themselves it worked for my bugie and my ring neck parakeet :D
If you see them eating do not watch them pretend that they are not there or else they will stop eating the food

Hey I have a question should you trim their wings I haven’t done it to my budgie but I was wondering if it is safe?

@@ashlee5115 It’s safe, don’t worry. Watch where you cut though, there are some feathers you don’t want to cut. You want to trim the primaries so they can’t exactly fly but keep the secondaries so that they can gently land and get place to place nearby. (If I’m correct.)
I was considering this when I was first taming my budgie, but realized it would probably damage the trust I built with him so decided not to. Now he's fully flighted and tame without having clipped his wings. Patience, time, and love worked better for me than taking away there flight.

How do you feed your buggies on a daily basis? I try giving mine veggies, and they’ll have a few bites but they’ll never eat what I give them. Eventually I start giving up and I’ll end up feeding them seeds.

i would recommend you to feed them something they like with your hand everyday (like seeds or veggies!) and also respect their body language. Like if they're running away , DO NOT chase them or they'll be more afraid . My budgie lovee vegetables and thats what worked for me . Also make sure you know safe foods they can eat.. just search it up on google :))

I live where there is no Pellets and no bird toys only seeds 😑I feed them greenery + seeds lol And we don't have extra money to order it online it is expensive. We had 2 budgies then they gave more kids became 17 then they died now there Are only 9 now then live in a small cage live 5 feet long they are not train to come out of cage .I once tried to train them but they didn't understand 😕
