Alan iI, thank you for being a respectful interviewer who can ask for responses to criticisms without being aggressive and making it feel like an attack. There are so many interviewers I cannot watch when it comes to Israel because their prejudice is so obvious. They also ignore the responses, whereas as you work to build more understanding of the responses this is very valuable. At the end when you mentioned the religious significance of Jerusalem it made me want to ask if you can try to interview representatives who manage the very difficult access issues. I know that many people have false beliefs about what the restrictions are, why they occur, and who is affected by them. I will let you ask the questions but suffice to say that I was surprised to hear the facts about religious practice in this part of the world

Excellent. Very well conducted covering all major concerns on the conflict. War does not provide solutions. They should all sit together along with the regional leaders including Iran and come to a permanent solution. The future is a two state solution whilst addressing Israel’s security concerns.
It’s important to understand how long this will take. If you look at the challenges of Kashmir you will have some idea. Please look at the spread of Khomeinism in the region and into Africa to really understand this conflict.
The Ambassador started to say something which sounded like SL soldiers are fighting for Israel. But he seemed to suddenly realise he shouldn't be speaking about that and stopped midway. Are we sending our people to fight?
