Steel Cut Oats in the Ninja Foodi

  • Basic recipe for steel cut oats in the Ninja Foodi. We like to make them this way then each individual person can personalize there bowl of oats.
    Toppings include walnuts, raisins, maple syrup, cinnamon, almonds, peanut butter, honey, raisins, coconut, you can top with fresh fruit the list is endless.

      Thank you! I love steel cut oats but making them on stove top I had to stir constantly at the end and clean up was awful. Always managed to stick to bottom of pot.

    Can this recipe be doubled, with the individual ingredient amounts a straight double? TIA.

    Can this work with standard oatmeal?

      Old fashioned oatmeal 1 cup oats to 2 cups of liquid. for 4 minutes PC HI then do a quick release. Thanks Lamar!
      If you want it somewhat thicker let it simmer a few minutes.

    30 min for oatmeal in a pressure cooker... Might as well cook it on the stove. Also, I'm sure you could do without the "natural venting".

      HI Jasmine, steel cut oats take longer than regular oatmeal. So many recipes to make/cook stew cut oats. Thanks Jasmine!
