I think I know how the 1st one is done, it's pretty clever! So what you do is you maintain a specific order of the deck (pay attention to the shuffles). The order itself is something like this: start with the standard order (ace through king 4 times for each suit). Notice that already exactly 13 cards down from any card is a card with the same value. let's start with the 4 kings. They appear in the deck in a specific order of suits (1 2 3 4). So what we do is we take the 4 queens and change their order so their suits look like this: (2 3 4 1), then the jacks (3 4 1 2) and so on. So for example, the very top card is a king of suit 1, the next one is queen of suit 2, and 12 cards down (13 from the king) is the king of suit 2, and it works starting from any card! The only thing left to do is select a random permutation of the 13 card values and apply it to each of the 4 blocks so that the deck looks shuffled.

I keep finding that when I come to get ready to sleep and I'm settling down, normal asmr doesn't engage my brain enough to stop me from just stewing in stress as I start thinking again But the trick with card magic is that I'm thinking about the trick My brain is on but also not
Revealing the trick here ------ When he picked up the 4 jacks at the start, he actually picked up 7 cards to bury 2 of the jacks. The shuffle of the bank put the buried jacks on top, and only 2 cards were placed in the high value vault. The collection of "jacks" entering the vault was actually 5 cards. He'd flip up 2 cards at once to show a jack (If you watch, he reveals the diamond and club twice), flip them back, put the top card in the vault, then put both real jacks in the last vault

More card magic! I love these videos. I actually learned a couple tricks from one of your card magic explained videos and performed them for my fiancee - she was totally fooled she loved it lol. I think I figured out the final trick. Potential spoilers below... ... I think you used our card to create a break and then cut it to the bottom of the deck, using a quick false cut to obscure it. Then you "shuffled" the deck, being careful to preserve the bottom card. After we found the 2♣ , you switched it out for the bottom card - our card - after you flipped it over so we wouldn't notice. The card goes out to the side, and like magic our card is found again :) If I got it right I don't mean to be a killjoy, I just really like card magic and it's fun to try and reverse engineer a trick lol.
