Thanks Vaclav. I recently purchased a bunch of GEN2 Shellys (Some GEN3 will arrive today) and my 15 Xiaomi BLE Temp/hum sensors 44mmx44m with ^--^ smiley will arrive today. Xiaomi uses encrypted OTA updates on tha latest firmware so some soldering or pogo pins is needed to flash custom firmware. Can't wait to try out your project here. Cheers, Chris
It’s awesome how 1. Manufacturers are using off the shelf ESP32s in their products 2. These products are being improved with better firmware written by some very talented folks. Is anyone aware of a maintained list of devices which have been hacked, what there capabilities are etc?
Nepouziva custom component v HA ani HACS. Cela integrace probiha na Shelly. S Boilerem komunikuje pres Bluetooth a s HA pak pres standardni API. Toto je ta repo co jsem nasel: github.com/pedobry/esphome-smartboiler. Funguje to skvele. Nicmene nebyl cil uplne jit do tohohle reseni (nejsem si jisty, jak moc je rozsirene, a skvele popsane na GitHubu, takze asi video nepotrebuje), ale slo u princip. Stejne tak jsem nesel do detailu topeni - ta ma aplikaci postavenou na Tuya, takze jsem si ji zaregistroval na Tuya developers portal a pak pres Tuya integraci v HA to funguje (funguje, ale ne uplne lokalne asi). Ale chtrel jsem se zamerit na Shelly a jeho pribeh :).

You don't need any soldering for custom firmware Xiaomi BLE Temp. I have Atc custom and it is realy easy to flash it

Zdravím vás, velice mě zajímá jak se vám podařilo natlačit ESP home do toho shelly luftem...
Nepodařilo. Myslel jsem, že to půjde přes Tasmota, ale to nefunguje pro ESP32. Budu na to dělá video.
To je škoda, jsem tajně doufal... mám to tiž dva kusy už namontované a budu je tedy muset přehrát po drátech...@@bruxy70
