The attempt on my blaster collection has left me scarred and deformed but i assure my new blastershas BEVER BEEN STRONGER! For security possiblities the stud shooters will be reorganized as the NEW CUSTOM BLASTERS
They should get rid of stud shooters in battle pack replace them with the curent normal balsters and get the custom molded blasters in the other sets that are not battle pack beside micro fighters
I’d say keep the stud shooters in battle packs for kids who like them (my little brother loves playing with them) but add in a set of molded blasters to go along with them if that’s what you prefer

In my opinion, the stud shooter is better than the old megaphone blaster, because they both look weird, but you can at least shoot the stud shooters. This is not saying I like the stud shooters, I don’t, but I like them more that the megaphones.
I’m grateful they’re at least bringing back blasters for more of the sets like the 501st. Was tired of having to order them online to replace the stud shooters in my army builds.
I like the more basic blaster design from 2007 I like how it’s basic but you can still create your own custom weapons without them looking too out of place You can add pieces to the blaster or make your own blaster out of parts like when I made a blaster rifle out of a small blaster, a stick piece, and a black lightsaber hilt
I dont know....the more detailed design woudn't fit with the more simple Design of the minifigs. It would look out of place. Those are just my thoughts.
I say to mod your guns with existing LEGO parts, like stick them on and your guns will look better, and the simplicity of adding like a black lightsaber hilt to the end of your gun to extend it looks great and fits the simple aesthetic of lego
I think that Lego would get a lot of flack for making semi-accurate weapons a bigger focus in sets by making more variations, but probably would see little to no increase in sales for doing making the change, so as much as some people might appreciate such a change, I can’t see them making unique blaster moulds for different blasters at any point in the future.
This case of improvement is similar to how EVERY Republic clone trooper, Imperial stormtrooper, and First Order stormtrooper minifigures (and sub groups like snowtroopers, etc.) all have the same mini heads. First Order stormtroopers are not clones!!! They finally improved that starting with the Ahsoka's Clone Trooper minifigs in the ATT set (#75283) back in 2020. Even changing the color from Light Nougat to Medium Nougat. It took YEARS in the making, but they did it.
Back then I thought that they should have been making custom blasters for so long, but now I have only really noticed that they don’t do that so people can be more creative and make their own blasters building upon them. So I know somewhat lean towards the side of no custom molds.
@@HasanMalik Also accurate molded blaster would be harder for stop motion animaters so then we would have to hold the blaster stick and it would not look as good. Also, not everyone likes the way drawing. So the only way would be to use clay. I use a white stud with a hole, but it on the end of the blaster, and then but a Saber stick in it for fire.

Honestly they should make new studs for the stud shooters specifically I find when you put two at once it’s way more manageable and knocks down figures as well but most people won’t do that
The stud shooters suck for displays, but I have a little brother and sometimes we play LEGO together, and the stud shooters are actually really fun for shooting guys down. They’re a lot better and more precise than you might think
I imagine they changed the design of the blaster pistols because the originals look too much like modern irl guns. (an important thing to consider when talking about new gun designs)
I think the problem is that there is a high number of blasters, especially from the original trilogy, which are based on real firearms since George Lucas took an opportunity to reuse these mostly deactivated weapons to modify them and used them in the movies. I don't know much, but this could be a potential argument to Lego's policy of not making military based sets. One could say that these are old weapons in most cases, but for example, German Stg-44s are still being used by insurgents and other military groups, especially in Middle East... I see your point and I fully respect it, however I just prefer buying Brickarms to make my figures look slightly better in the end.
I Make Lego Weapons out of those Blaster Pieces, Just Recently, I Made Two Sniper Pistols Out of The Longer Rifle Blasters and Made Stock Pieces that are Meant to go Underneath the Forearm of The MOC Builds, Hope we Get More Blasters like These in The Future
Idea for the specific blaster: have customization In order to keep down cost, why not have attachments for each, a body for a DC-10, scope attachment for E-11, and then a dual mold version of DC-10 for first order +E-11 scope
They should start with making variants of the current blasters, like a blaster rifle and a blaster carbine variant without the scope. Ofc they should bring back the old pistol mold aswell. They should also mix in some other pieces more with the blasters to make them more unique and maybe dual mold them. The custom molds should be reserved mainly for unique blasters like Han's DL-44, but smt like the B1 battle droids' E-5 which looks much bulkier than the standard blaster carbine piece, should get it's own mold.
I think he current ones are fantastic and will always be known as the lego Star Wars blaster. For specific characters, I just ordered some 3D-printed lightsabers and brickarms blasters online but I don’t think they should change the current ones

They’re meant to be play features for kids but i am a kid and don’t need silly play features like stud shooters to enjoy playing with sets. Even when they only put them in battle packs i buy them to have more troops but then half my troops end up having stupid weapons

I don't understand why people don't like stud shooters. They are the modern version of the original. Sure it looks like a canon but so did the original and the only reason the original ones are "better" because they are the original. But everyone can have their opinions
i had the 2009 clone wars walker battle pack (had the Assassin droid battle pack too) (set numbers 8014 and 8015) and I LOVED It as a kid, and even know I miss having all those figures and pieces. and I saw online that they cost like $100 USD What the hell
this isn't really a problem for me I got plenty of star wars brickarms and ill rather use them over the lego ones any day there a lot more detailed then what lego could probably make and if you think about it in a way their kind of actually real lego because there made out of melted legos/the same quality plastic 🤷♂️🤷♂️
The problem sadly is the blasters are models of actual firearms for over 60 percent of all star wars blasters and not trying to be political but if lego was to start releasing something like that it gets media attention and lego being a company would want to stay away from anything that closely resembles actual firearms how ever I am aware of the revolver mold but here's the weird part most of the people that would complain about a more modern firearm in lego sees the revolver as less threatening and ik for us starwars fans and historical fans it's a eye roll but other country's that aren't the usa have problems with promoting nerf or airsoft or bb guns and sense lego is a corporation they can't just focus on individual country's so there going to play it safe but at least we have great third party options and I think it's cool that the third party isn't afraid to experiment more and the best part is it creates jobs for lego fans that are passionate about the product.
If Lego can't mass produce new blaster models for original sets, how about they put them in more expensive or USC sets with Minifigures to keep production low enough to be profitable

I grew up with the 2007 blaster but because of the Lego Star Wars games I am familiar with the 1999 blaster
The current blaster rifles i use for my own Lego army is the standard blaster rifle that we got with the clone troopers
The 2008 blaster pistols are my favorite, I only ever had two of them when I got a Clone Trooper Battle pack way back in the day.
I think I only got 1 or 2 of them. They should really bring them back.
