I hope there is a time when lego goes back and make sets based on the first few seasons of the clone wars with phase one clone wars clones that we never got.

@@Guy117. we need phase 1 and 2, the sequels took over the sets, we never even got a CW Y-wing that's not unique, and people want another one that's unique instead of the yellow/red and white ones
Lol I remember back in 2008 begging for the AT TE just for the new clones. I got it for christmas, never built the walker, and just played with captain rex and the other figures
2005 troops are my personal favourite, I remember watching the old yt stop motion videos
I kind of wish they did the realistic visor for the 501st set
Edit: I can get over it if all clones from now on are updated with this design

Unpopular opinion: I don’t like custom made figures which put too much detail into a figure like full arm printing, full leg printing so basically figures which are printed on every single side

Leg printing and Abit of simple arm printing is alright. Side is abit much

One of my favorite things about the simpler 2008 clones was how you only really needed the special helmets and extra colored arms to make your favorite clones or customs.
Why did LEGO have to update the 212th Airborne Trooper, when they haven’t even updated the normal 212th Trooper or even the Plain White P2 Clone?!

I think the plain P2 trooper from 2014 looks awesome. I don't think they need to update them just yet.

The reason they didn’t have the rangefinder hole in the helmets is accuracy, p2 clones didn’t need rangefinders because the helmets were so advanced, however arc troopers did have them because arc troopers have always had p2 style helmets (despite being the same as the p1 on the inside) and when the switch to p2 Armor, arc troopers didn’t switch (however idk why)
As far as we know, Jesse is the only ARC Trooper with a p2 helmet.

The phase 2 helmet in 2013 disappointed me because of the lack of holes for customization like the 2012 arc trooper helmet which had holes, LEGO could have resculpted this arc trooper helmet and made the back more accurate to the back of a phase 2 helmet and also make the fin on the top of the helmet round. LEGO literally had the chance to make a way better improvement and it still confuses me why they didn’t reuse that 2012 arc trooper helmet.

No I agree, I like the hybrid of TCW and live action armor printing, however I do hope that lego doesn't straight-up ditch the live-action printing. I was kinda hoping to see 501st and 332nd Troopers in the 2014 Episode III Clone Trooper printing but these new guys still look great.

Finally got something to watch during quarantine
I do not want the cloth to be replaced with molds because it restricts SO much movement, the old kama molds made it so clones could not move their legs at all.

Hot take (?) the 2013/14 clone helmet and figure prints were the most accurate and best designs yet, they should have used those for even Clone wars versions of clones, seeing as how they stopped with the toon style of faces they shold use those (2013/14) versions for clone prints.

Excellent video. My favorite clones are the 501st pilot and the phase II gen 2 Coruscant Guard Corps (aka shock troopers). I wish lego would make a new phase II battlepack that included a few plane white clones and maybe a shock trooper or gunner or 442nd siege battalion trooper
