Literally bumped into Charles and Alyssa. Hope you all have a wonderful time. Thanks for visiting these "not-so-touristy" places. But as always and everywhere, just keep your wits about you. And wear your belt bags, backpacks in front. Cheers.
We had a great time! Always enjoy the less touristy areas while traveling. Thanks for the tips!
No fancy editing. No pretentious sound effects. Just pure "slice of life' style vlogging. Kudos!
I visited the Philippines and all I can say their friendliness is in to the highest level. Never experience that in so many other places. God given.
I love the idea of taking a few second videos of some of the people you encountered.
I've never seen much tourist interacting with the non-tourist places. Its nice, thank you guys.
I saw that you have hooked up with one of my Canadian TH-cam couples, Eric and Sarah for the next 4 weeks.
Look forward to seeing your adventures with them and hope that you enjoy learning from each other the different travel hacks you all have to offer.
Yes, we are so stoked to be all traveling together! Can't wait to share our adventures together!
Ugbo is definitely where I'm going for my next street food video in Manila! I like how you mix the vlog with this editing style of yours. And I'm curious which software/site you used to make that thumbnail? Great video!!
You should, it's a great street food and the best people! So glad you enjoy our editing style, thanks for making my day! We actually took the photos and edited them in photoshop and lightroom 👍

oh nice! Thanks for the reply!@@SammyandTommy
Hi @travelescape
Because we are Filipino we are different we are not a shy people we always welcoming and commucating foreign visitor's like you and even locals too😊
Yes, the people here are the best!
Making a great vlog in the Phils means interacting with people. Even if some are not so fluent, they can understand you and respond with a smile...you can easily gain new subscribers too...
We love interacting with all the filipino people and making new friends! Most friendly people!
I love this guy's rather than other foreign vloggers. Not overacting or pretending..Naturally nice persons❤️Take care always on your vlog tours😘
Please try lechon and sisig before you leave!
We definitely will, can't wait for the lechon 🤤 thanks of the recommendations!
@@SammyandTommyBetter paired with garlic fried rice 🤤
@@dayangmarikit6860Whats the big deal with garlic rice? That is usually a breakfast thing. it was only called fried rice until recently, Filipinos assume garlic is only found in the Philippines. Lechon is not something that needs to be paired with garlic rice. Garlic rice is just a scam in restaurant menus. They charge you a lot more for a clove of garlic on some rice imported from Thailand.
@@eduardochavacano Yap Yap Yap §hut the f*©k up!!! You're always up other people's ∆§§£§... God forbid someone gives a suggestion/recommendation on social media 🙄😒... Garlic fried rice gives you a different dining experience, when compared to plain white rice. Garlic fried rice tastes good when paired with sisig... Yes, it was originally served for breakfast to salvage old rice, but now we eat it all day, because why the f*©k not?... Lastly, I specifically said "garlic fried rice" because garlic is the main ingredient, there are different kinds of fried rice, such as egg fried rice, pork fried rice, bagoong/shrimp paste fried rice, tinapa/smoked fish fried rice, etc, etc, etc.
By the way, kindly see a psychiatrist, you seem acoustic.

It's a must visit for all the delicious foods and friendly people! Yes, the isaw doesn't look super appetizing but you're right great flavors!
I love the fact that you guys included them in this video when they were posing for the camera. So endearing and so nice of you. I wish I could go there too. The fried rice looked promising!
Such kind souls you two are. Genuinely nice and respecttful.
I’m a new subscriber and amongst the many many couple vloggers in the Philippines, you 2 stand out for your openness, curiosity and compassion. Looking forward to more. Salamat and Mabuhay!

Filipinos have a strong affinity for being included in videos and having their image captured on camera. They are not reserved or unwelcoming, particularly when they are being showcased in vlogs, as they genuinely enjoy being part of the content. Unlike individuals from other countries who may display snobbishness, rudeness, and arrogance when being filmed, Filipinos are accommodating and willing participants. It is important to recognize and respect cultural differences in attitudes toward media representation, as in the Philippines, being featured in videos is generally regarded positively. For the Halo-Halo, you should mix it down from the bottom going up, and that's how you do it.
Thats true, its also because of brainwashing propaganda and religion, they gave us white jesus so all the crimes of white man is kinda washed off that. And most of these guys coming to philippines know that mowt viewers are also filipinos and will watch this shit and watch themselves in the video. These video will last forever basically and everyone faces are here in youtube forever😂
Well Filipinos are very different French, Swiss, Danish, Spanish, and Swedish people. Is that something to be proud of? Vietnamese people or street food vendors are not as MESMERIZED by random white tourist or backpackers. It doesnt mean the Vietnamese or the Balinese are less friendly. Just because Norwegian dont stalk Asians who visit Norway, it doesnt mean they are less kind or welcoming.
Thank you Sammy and Tommy for visiting the Philippines! It's really fun to watch you guys having a great adventure here in our country. Hope ud always come back to visit us😊😊😊😊😊. God bless both of you!
I just started watching your videos, and I enjoy the way you both interact with the locals : Enjoy your stay here in The Philippines!

A great video of the food market in Manila, Philippines. I like the friendly atmosphere. Probably the most friendly people that I have seen so far!
The most underrated and even disrespected is the most friendliest, open, and accepting nation in Asia!
Philippines, I don’t care what other nations say bad about you. They are just jealous! This American loves you just the way you are!
God bless the Philippines!
Unfortunately many of my countrymen have forgotten that Americans stole our victory and independence from Spain, stole Guam and other Pacific islands, killed millions of our people between 1898 to 1915, and kidnapped many of our tribes people and displayed them in human zoos.
COOL! Bumping with Charles & Alyssa and enjoying the food too!

Welcome to the Philippines More Subs incoming
dipping the dynamite in mayonaise or vinegar is good :D I already try that.
You’ve experience a different way of life, foods and the hardships of traveling in the Philippines. However, not a lot of Americans or foreigners have like what you’ve experience and that makes your travel the best memories of your lives! Although some of the foods were kinda weird to taste, you have something to tell to your kids and friends who want to visit Asia and the Philippines someday!
new subscriber here... thank u for visithing PH
