As a just-getting-back-into-it angler, I do like the variety they have in the MTB subscription (despite the many difficulties I've had getting my orders straight) as it's given me a wide selection of baits, rigs, hooks, etc. for a plethora of fish. This is a great way to start your tackle hoarding!
I’d love to get a glide bait because I want to throw hard baits, but the pond and lake I fish have a ton of grass which makes it annoying to fish crankbaits, or any deeper treble hooked bait. I also love and appreciate your videos and reviews because you let us know true opinion. Keep up the great work.
Glide baits can be devastating to fish sometimes, the bull gills action is really nice, that silver minnow looks like it would work in clear and muddy water

Trout tricks are Sea Trout baits; also used for Red fish, Snook and Tarpon. However, Bass likely might like them too. Quite a few Z-Mann plastics are saltwater based lures.
My daughter, son and I did a ton of fishing with Texas rigged soft plastics this summer, love these videos to expand our skills... we fish from the banks in the little ponds near our home. We love watching your videos and learning more strategies. We are in Illinois and can’t wait to get out fishing again (the bite has been so hard my kids have been discouraged) in the spring!! Debo & friends- I gotta share a story about big swimbaits and glide baits. I lean toward crankbaits (like squarebills & lipless) but wanted to stretch and try glide baits. Now I'm a kayak guy & usually fish from my yak but recently I had a little time to fish but not long, so I just grabbed rods & went bank fishing for a while. I was using a KVD 1.5 square bill and caught 4-5 small (2lb or less) largemouth. I had a little time left, so I grabbed my big rod with an S-waver 168 to practice with it. Literally it was just practice & see how different retrieves work & look. After a few casts- I got HAMMERED by something big. I got it reeled in and it was a 7 pound 2 oz hog of a large mouth. I had the shakes I was so excited! That's my PB now & really has me interested in big baits. I heard somewhere, "big baits get big bites," and brother it's true.
I have used Mystery Tackle Box for almost two years. Usually they hit it well, sometimes they completely miss. The Panfish box was amazing if you target those. Well done Debo

I dedicated this whole season to learning the big swimbait game. On top of all my conventional set ups I ended up with 4 new setups just for large swimbaits/wake baits/glide baits. I have had one of my best seasons using these baits.

Yoto worms are great. They are so versatile. You’ll enjoy them. The shimmer shad and swimmer are great on a drop shot. I’m not a googan fanatic, but if you’re a member you can get their jigs for a good price. I like using them because the weight is stamped on the bottom.
Those swimbaits ( especially big ones ) work best early in the morning pre sunrise or late night . Love throwing big wakebaits and swimbaitss !! Another great vid with a solid honest opinion on tackle
Swimbaits take time man! Trust me I just started at the begging of the year I was in the same situation as you getting no bites, then one day it just clicks. And once you get your first fish you’ll just start reeling em in, also I would highly suggest wake baits. I have way more luck on big wake baits than glides
Keep up the good work on the videos, your “6 big mistakes new anglers make” video and the “what’s a bite video” really opened my eyes to some areas in my fishing that needed improvement. I like swimbaits a lot, particularly the big ones.

I know that the giants around here would CRUSH that baby bull gill, I was planning to try to get one of the baby bull shads since TW doesn’t carry the baby gill. (Since I cant afford the bigger ones comfortably... 😒)

Oh that silver minnow would be fire in a pond I fish when I go back home to Ohio on vacation. Ponds are full of crappie as well. That would be a great combo in my opinion. Thanks for the great videos!
It's good to see you give Karl's bait and tackle a look. I know there are some people that stay away because of the Googans, not saying that you are one of them, but Karl's carries some good stuff. Trashmaster jigs, yoto worm, and sukoshi bugs are all really good lures that I caught lots of fish on this season. I'd love to try out one of those baby bull gills.

Love that Bull Gill swim bait design... it has a slimmer profile than many other bull gill designed swim baits I've used, so it should allow the fish to actually get it into their mouth for a better hook up ratio. I've used the Bull Shads that the same company makes and the swimming action is very realistic. Can't wait to try these out. First time I've seen these. Thanks for the heads up.
Coffee and Debo on a Saturday morning. Good start to the day!!! I bought the MB Baby Bull Shad and the Bull Gill. Threw the Gill the other evening after work. Wanted to see how it felt. Was almost too dark to see the action in the water. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and I can try it again, soon. Like you Debo, I have tried the larger swimbait, but only had a smallmouth follow it all the way to my rod tip. I want to catch them on these baits. So adding the baby bass and rainbow trout to my tackle would be cool. When I catch anything on them, I will send you a pic and a super thanks, of course!

Have had a ton of success on that sukoshi bug. Little brother convinced me when he was slaying fish and I had only caught a couple. Favorite color is their green pumpkin orange. I have also used the Yoto worm on chatterbaits and can vouch for that too.
I was hooked up in the bait show as well as the nicest finger nails I have ever seen on a fellow fisherman, no Karls or any big name tackle shops in my area but I will give some of this a try via postage, thank you for the informative video.

How Karls Bait and Tackle Works is Catch Co. owns them and mystery tackle box. Most of the lures you have there are made by catch co., just under a different name. If you look at the really small lettering, you can see it says Catch Co. I hope this helps explain how KB&T works. I love lipless cranks, especially craw and shad patterns. Been looking at the Trashmaster jigs. Would love to have one. Keep up the great work.

Swim baits are great action but I’ve only caught a couple fish on them. Have some Rebel broken bodied swimmers. Great video as always! You are one of my go to resources to learn fishing techniques and knowledge!
Debo I think your painting videos are quite interesting, I love your trial and Era attitude when it comes to figuring paint out. That whole shed call or bone would be an awesome fire tiger paint job. Just putting it out there depot I’ve been a subscriber to Carlsbad and tackle for two years now and it’s not a bad little company but yes I have had problems with them sending me wrong page also.
I love glide baits! Just caught my pb on striper and largemouth last week.... first time I threw one the very first cast I had like a 12 lb follower!!! I was hooked since then!!! They got so much drawing power but I've learned it takes alittle extra to make them commit!!! Luckily it's usually a big fish and you hook him right at the boat or bank so the short line out helps on landing also.... One more thing they seem to have the biggest treble hooks yet they are the ones that try to get stuck in me the most. The 1/0 I puller out from my thumb yesterday hurt!!!! Love your vids brother!

I fish a lot of ponds so I've never fished big swimbaits but I have to say those smaller bull gills look amazing.love the trashmaster jigs as well almost as good as my go to dirty jigs.

Always love your videos! I'm a newer sub, only started this summer. I used to fish with some relatives as a child, but decided that this summer was a good time to take up a fun, socially-distanced outdoor activity. I bought just a basic set and rod from the local hardware store. It certainly is missing some key components, but did the trick in getting me started. I've only done some bank fishing at some local lakes, bass and trout. When I was scoping out some starter videos, your channel was one that I was drawn to right away - easy to follow tips as well as some good commentary and opinions. Would love to try out some great new baits.

Have had a ton of success on that sukoshi bug. Little brother convinced me when he was slaying fish and I had only caught a couple. Favorite color is their green pumpkin orange. I have also used the Yoto worm on chatterbaits and can vouch for that too.
I was hooked up in the bait show as well as the nicest finger nails I have ever seen on a fellow fisherman, no Karls or any big name tackle shops in my area but I will give some of this a try via postage, thank you for the informative video.

How Karls Bait and Tackle Works is Catch Co. owns them and mystery tackle box. Most of the lures you have there are made by catch co., just under a different name. If you look at the really small lettering, you can see it says Catch Co. I hope this helps explain how KB&T works. I love lipless cranks, especially craw and shad patterns. Been looking at the Trashmaster jigs. Would love to have one. Keep up the great work.

Debo keep doing what your doing you are so helpful and down to earth. I’ve only ever thrown soft swim baits but glide baits like that would be awesome to try I just haven’t brought myself to try them yet. Again keep doing what your doing you are awesome!!!
Swim baits are great action but I’ve only caught a couple fish on them. Have some Rebel broken bodied swimmers. Great video as always! You are one of my go to resources to learn fishing techniques and knowledge!

I think your painting videos are quite interesting, I love your trial and Era attitude when it comes to figuring paint out. That whole shed call or bone would be an awesome fire tiger paint job. Just putting it out there depot I’ve been a subscriber to Carlsbad and tackle for two years now and it’s not a bad little company but yes I have had problems with them sending me wrong page also.
I love glide baits! Just caught my pb on striper and largemouth last week.... first time I threw one the very first cast I had like a 12 lb follower!!! I was hooked since then!!! They got so much drawing power but I've learned it takes alittle extra to make them commit!!! Luckily it's usually a big fish and you hook him right at the boat or bank so the short line out helps on landing also.... One more thing they seem to have the biggest treble hooks yet they are the ones that try to get stuck in me the most. The 1/0 I puller out from my thumb yesterday hurt!!!! Love your vids brother!

I have never tried a wake bait but love throwing swimbaits. Those glide baits look great. Also I would love to see more trout fishing videos.
I fish a lot of ponds so I've never fished big swimbaits but I have to say those smaller bull gills look amazing.love the trashmaster jigs as well almost as good as my go to dirty jigs.
Those bull gill look great! Been catching them on the bull shad. Very happy for my first swim bait. I want tot try more.

I'm a newer sub, only started this summer. I used to fish with some relatives as a child, but decided that this summer was a good time to take up a fun, socially-distanced outdoor activity. I bought just a basic set and rod from the local hardware store. It certainly is missing some key components, but did the trick in getting me started. I've only done some bank fishing at some local lakes, bass and trout. When I was scoping out some starter videos, your channel was one that I was drawn to right away - easy to follow tips as well as some good commentary and opinions. Would love to try out some great new baits.
