I love it when ur descriptions of albums make me wanna go check it out
oh, they collabed?
Awesome awesome review Anthony. This is my favorite album this year. I think the repetition is one of the things that make the music so brutal. That repetition on the seer reminds me of old Swans children of God holy money era. I am totally amazed that Gira can still bring the pain the way he can.swans are so original and still innovative after all these years.
agreed.
because i don't live in that house anymore. i moved out to a totally different place that has no garden or tree.
How about we bump that up to a 10, what do you think?
thinking about this one.
planning on it.
sadly, no. i'll have ot check it out.
reviewing it soon.
This is a brilliant album! . . . . Great review as well! Well done friend!
yes, i hit the gym three times a week, and run throughout the week as well. sprints.
WINNING!
did it?
This album is perfect to listen to when drawing or creating art. Perfect.
wasn't too much into that one. it dragged a bit for me, sadly.
There are a few tracks that definitely caught my attention, but I think I need to listen this album a few more times
although i already felt totally penetrated in a good way😅
This is the best album review this good fellow has ever done. Now I'm pumped to hear this thing.
in september, the review is coming.
LEAST FAV TRACK: RETURN OF THE SEER
theres a jagged deep crack in the melon spreading from north to south
i believe it. well, you were seeing me have words to say to describe this album after i had given it a series of thorough listens. you should have been there when i was sitting here by myself and wondering what the hell to make of it, lol.
these acronyms get more and more complicated every day.
I know to a lot of people it's gonna sound completely superlative, but this is easily the most outstanding thing I've ever heard. And yes, I've heard a great deal of older Swans material and I don't find it as powerful (though obviously still brilliant).
Hey Anthony, looks like that vinyl is about to fall off the shelf there
this review got me really psyched up to make the journey through this album
plotting on it.
I wish they’d do a tour playing actual classics, but it be completely unauthentic to Michael Gira
Mother Of The World is amazing!!!
My fav review from you in maybe a few years !
do it up.
