I LOVE how he still calls him “Mr. Walz” with love and respect. Those of us who were blessed with that special teacher who saw your talents and encouraged them, especially if fellow students made fun of it, know it can be life changing! When I graduated law school and began my 30 year career as a prosecutor, I sent a thank you note to my high school history teacher for 3 years, Mr. Harlan Kreklow, Brookfield Central HS (go Lancers) Class of 1978, Brookfield, Wisconsin. No one knew I was struggling after a parental divorce, because it was kept secret, but he saw me, my talents, and for 3 years was my cheerleader.

Went on a alumni field trip to Greece years after undergrad and I just couldn’t call him Greg : It was professor Nagy! Respect to him and teachers like him.

He's a great guy, and he will make a great VP.
Justice Gorsuch taught at my law school (University of Colorado Boulder) and while its cool to have a former teacher in such a position, I'm not a supporter of his interpretations of law and fearful of the further damage he will cause. So glad that Walz is the type of person that I would be proud to have had as a teacher. Having an adult care about you matters, and you really get the sense that Walz genuinely cares about people and wants them to do and be better, and has that same hope and care for all Americans.
Walz is right. Trump is *mentally chaotic* , and JD Vance is chaotically weird 🤔. America doesn't need these two weird guys in the White House. Their mental chaos will result in political and economic chaos.
Walz apparently can boil down ideas so a 14-15 year old can understand. Maybe someone finally can get through to Trump.

@BarryMcCokkiner247 24 years of service and retired over a year before the unit he was attached to got deployed. It takes months for somebody at that rank to transition out of service. He did so to run for Congress and start making differences that way.

This makes me feel great about what I did as a music teacher. In my videos (see profile), the two young men who are playing the bass pans (in the back) have told me that I had so much influence on the men they are today. I had them in my music classes from 4th through 8th grade. Some of them I had for their 9 years of K-8. I taught them how to tie a tie. They have been nothing but supportive of me and concerned for me since my Parkinson's diagnosis. These small things have so much influence on a young person's upbringing. I will never regret teaching, except for the low pay, of course. 😂
not in Minnesota...our Gov. Walz added 2.2 Billion dollars in new funding for K-12. That included more teacher pay. Yay, right? And I know so many teachers here who previously bought supplies out of their own pockets! They don't have to do that anymore. And neither do parents, as I was one who actually had a yearly budget to help them out. Thank you for all you did! Hopefully we can get music back in Minnesota. After some of our previous governors, we lost so much in the budget, some schools couldn't even afford paper, let alone music and art programs. And the thing is? Science has proven that students in music, art, athletics all benefit and do better academically.
Thank you for being a music teacher. Art helps allow us to navigate the human condition.

@@TowardTreatise It's kinda interesting to see in the agenda of Project 2025, that there is a plan to prosecute political opposition. This would give someone like Trump full authoritarian control over the country, and we would be prosecuted (or more extreme circumstances, killed) if we had anything to say about it. I guess people like being told what to do and who to support, even if it comes with the price of abandoning the right to critical thought.
I can't even remember any of my teachers names (went to a private high school) yet alone did they make a lasting impression. They have my vote.
