You don't see the number of people Reliance employs? The country needs employment to lift people out of poverty, not doles by government. During Covid, Ambani promised to get vaccination doses for every employee as well as their families, as well as donated oxygen during extreme crisis for free. I am no fan of Ambani, but it's not fair to mock Ambani or any rich person for being wealthy, surrounded by poverty.

I believe we have rather be a seller and consumer relation with ambanis than rich and poor... you have reliance telecom services and stocks , you get what you expect and on a good note they do it on a consumption basis where the utility expected is fulfilled most of the time. their services or petroleum. should we expect sweets from antilla after its inaguration , we expect housing scheme from reliance financial firm maybe a challenge to bajaj.

Yes Ambani family should rise more because they did this with their business idea's thinking smartness cleverness and hard work . I traveled to many cities in India. I have never seen so much poverty in my life and the sub-human conditions of these people are incredible. People get paid under one digit of dollars a month, they sleep on the side of the factories because they can not even afford the expense on flip- flops. America needs to apply duties on Indian products and bring the production back to America.

Most of the poor would still be poor after spending all of it (most poor -like me - don't have skills to give services that people are willing to pay for), and the people he has employed in his vast empire will also be jobless.
