- Things heat up as we put on our big-boy pants and head up to Haiphong for a POL strike. The SAMs are waiting and have a taste for blood. Can we avoid more losses this time out?

Another utterly fantastic episode Devin, great work on taking out that primary target.. your wingmates we're on form beautifully also, I'd say that was great cooperation and support. Talk about running the gauntlet with the AAA in this one, this one had some real close shaves, and the S75s ( SA-2s ) made a colourful appearance also, heart in the mouth moment indeed. Great to see the F105s, F8s, A6s and F4s come out to play in this one, great amount of activity indeed today. Everyone comes home safe and that's a bonus victory.. and you performed a beautiful landing on the carrier.. a great day of operation... just great, tense and frightening in the jaws of enemy fire but still a great day. Thanks for another awesome episode, keep at it, fly safe and happy hunting mate 👏👍

Hi Devin, Spud here. I was one of the guys who chastised you for referring to the Coral Sea as an Essex class carrier. Just want to tell you how much I like your videos. If you are going to be flying the A-6 again as you kind of hinted at, then I cannot wait. Keep it up. And that includes the quick history lessons you tend to do as you make your way from take-off to your flight joining up on your wing. It helps each mission come to life.
Just crossed wires in my brain, that's all. Yes, A-6 next. I forget what I planned after that, but we get closer and closer to the end of Rolling Thunder
I know that on one of your Viet Nam shorts videos, you said you'd like to pretty much fly everything in the inventory that we used over there. I'd love to see you try and fly one of the most effed up missions they ever handed one of our airplanes, and that was sending an interceptor, the F-102, against the Ho Chi Minh Trail at night, trying to fire the IR versions of the AIM-4 against heat sources on the ground that they believed to be trucks, and trying to lock on to ground radar blips with the SARH versions of the AIM-4. :)

I used to love that part, but I don't mess with copywritten music anymore. It's just too much of a potential headache, so I do the same thing but with some free music that sounds appropriate for the time

Makes sense. Dauntless is the most "airplane" looking airplane and the Skyhawk has that same kind of feel

Been watching your videos a lot lately, you single handedly drove me to purchase the whole collection to play. Having lots of fun with it so far! I do have a issue with the A-6 and RealSKY that you might have some input to. When im in adverse weather while using the A-6, RealSKY fogs up my cockpit amd the only thing I can see is my VDI in a black glow. Have you had to deal with that issue?
Oh, that sucks. I have not dealt with that to that extreme. I haven't used it that much, honestly, but I have had that fog-in-the-cockpit when going through clouds. I don't think its the weather mod, because it only seems to happen in the A-6. I would say make sure both mods are up to date, but it is possible that the Intruder model is so old it won't play nice. Once I spend more time with the plane I might have to figure out how to deal with it.
The AI wingmen never hit the damn target you tell them to. They always bomb everything but lol
Hello Devin...just a quick question. On your recent vids I noticed you were able to modify the North Vietnamese airbases such as around Vinh to appear as army type bases with buildings, sam sites, vehicles, radar etc. but no runways. How were you able to accomplish this. I have Green Hell 3.5 but I don't have that feature.

It's nothing I did personally, it came from one of the mods. Honestly I thought it was Green Hell that did it, but apparently not. It's probably either the "air and ground war expansion gold" pack or the "SF2V Airbase rebuild mod" by hurc. Those links should be down in the description
