the Yishun mall brings lots of childhood memories, I remembered about twenty years ago, when I was around 3-5 years old would frequent this place almost every Saturday or Sunday. Saturday to have the Tze char, Sunday to accompany mom to the wet market section, this place brings back so much memories, but every time im here, would only shopped till the Fairprice area, didn't know there's Giant supermarket, and it looks so close to Yishun park hawker centre.

Jimmy Yap has no aspiration for public office otherwise he would have been a great representative of ordinary folks like you and me. He has a genuine concern for the environment and even made interesting proposals on amenities to the authorities.
Whenever he sees old folks pushing carts of cupboards or empty cans, he would approach them and give some cash. A heart-warming sight to behold.
A simple man, you can see him at Yishun neighborhood in bermuda and T-shirt.

One Chat group felt I made them proud ! One felt you must have seen me in actions lending my help. The third insisted I take a look at it myself. Yes after moving into the Yishun for more than a year I felt I'm beginning to grow some roots here.
Ghib Ojisan and I have highlighted the beautiful landscapes , rich history and potential to improve on saving the environment, beautifying it by day or night etc.

Hi Vhalia - I loved this Yishun Mall area as it is so rustic compared to the modern North Point ! Multistoried car park here is connected by tiled roof shelters to almost the whole village when it rained. Met many friendly stall holders though I moved her only about a year ago.

I am from Yishun. I have plenty of MSW durian 😋 - directly from Pahang.
The reason why few durian in Singapore now is because the cost of durian at the moment is very high. The fruit stall owners make peanuts due to costs yet they have to risk not selling all their durians.
The $16/kg or $22/kg MSW durian are definitely not from Pahang. Quality inferior. Logical price range is $25/kg to $28/kg.

Haha GHIB is a FREQUENT VISITOR to YISHUN. The MPs here should grant him a medal. Don't be surprised to see Thousands of Japanese Tourists visiting Yishun when VTL Japan and Singapore is signed. Thanks to Ghib for promoting Yishun ( The Heartlands of Singapore ) with his videos to the Japanese in Japan or are based around the world.
