We are Ash and Dan and we're on a mission to visit 100 countries!
It's our LAST DAY in Kazakhstan! We are exploring more of the incredible Kazakh nature and lakes today at the magical Kandy Lake.
This lake only appeared around 100 years ago (1911) after the Kebin earthquake caused landslides and avalanches. The city of Almaty was badly affected with over 400 people losing their lives and over 700 buildings were destroyed.
Today the lake is known for being a popular tourist spot. You can see trees in the water with the pines still on the branches that have been preserved due to the temperature of the water.
Our trip around Kazakhstan has been incredible, we have LOVED our first taste of Central Asia and hope you are ready for more adventures around this part of the world!

It's not old soviet van actually. It's Russian made Van, they are still manufactured same style until nowadays.
It was designed in Soviet Union, Russia couldn't designed anything except Propaganda

I recommend you to visit Boszhira Valley in west Kazakhstan. Boszhira Valley is the unique place on the Earth
