Thank you for filming this even if you might’ve been caught. This is arguably a better film than his last but not quite JAM and BRASS EYE. I actually felt sad at the end because Morris actually made a rather sympathetic, tragic character study in THE DAY SHALL COME. Morris is a hero of mine in terms of making strong, controversial, sometimes disturbing satire which lends in my recent screenplays.
i think 4 lions is better or at least as i tragicomedy- as at least the funny moments were ok to laugh at. The problem with this is watching it as a comedy but most of the amusing bits being too close to being tear-inducing- which is no blot ojn the quality of the film jsut better to watch as a tragedy i think
@@harryjones84i feel kinda the opposite. No one knows any terrorist sleeper cells and the ending was so slapstick and unrealistic i couldn’t really relate to 4 lions. But being entrapped by the police or FBI and sent to jail for decades or life is common enough that the day shall come feels like it’s satirizing something real. I know several people who have been in prison for decades whereas suicide bombings are so rare in western countries.
My question would be do you now see any connection to your previous movie 'four lions' in the sense the 4 boys from who committed the 7/7 London bombings could well have been guided to do so by the UK intelligence agencies?
If you look at actual actions and consequences, Trump turned out to be much more 'for the people' than any other president from recent decades. Highest employment levels, job creation, no new wars, de-escalation Vis a vis old nemeses dictatorships, better trade terms, less regulation and government intervention, cheap energy, etc.
Totally decimated workers rights by bowing down to industry, decimated climate law, much in the name of less regulation and did the same for any consumer rights and so on. On paper it might look good and gives nice winning news reports for businesses. In practice the people are even more fucked.
