I think you can give the old truck a higher horsepower engine, I think when you purchased it you bought it completely standard with the option to get a higher horsepower later on, DON'T SELL JUST TUNE IT!!
That’s what he always says when buying oh I’ll upgrade horsepower in future then he ends up selling it because he thinks to to less of horsepower when He can upgrade it

And the trees are free…. And the building was purchased…. So why dont cut trees for 1 day, fill the factory and put it to autosell…. Its free income…
yeah get a square baler, the autostacker and square bale wrapper, keep the bales production simple and streamline. Also maybe it's a good idea to change the rear mower to butterfly mower that can swath, it's easier to use than your current setup and you don't have to windrow so much.

Dagger, I would love to see you invest in the grain mill for this series. Flour, if sold high, is a decent profit/KL, and can use some of the fastest growing crops, to the point that you can harvest them 3 times/year. The downside to flour is that the low point is below the high point for the “equivalent quantity of base ingredient,” IE, if its 5 wheat to 4 flour, the low point on 1KL of flour is below the high sell point of 1.25KL of wheat. Not by much, but it does require some attention.
Another option would be the furniture factory, and planting more trees. It’s very profitable, to the point that you basically double the “volume” of trees that you input in furniture volume output, as long as you turn them into planks first that is.
honestly buy 35, place the cow barn to enclose your center of the complex and put a new silage pit and bale barn behind the new cow barn, making a more centralized location to feed the cows, sheep and methane plant. and setting the wool to distribute would be a good option...definitely need to pour it on to catch chainsaw, otherwise good series
The 3 sheep enclosures was already more than the spinnery can keep up with.
Roughly you need 2 spinneries supplying 1 tailor and 2 enclosures supplying 1 spinnery to keep everything running non stop.
Daggerwin, when you do buy cows, I think you should go with the cows barn and with the automatic feeding system. It holds a the most cows and all you have to do is drop in the ingredients a couple of times per ingame year. It also saves you from having to feed the cows every episode. It is a bit of expensive thought so you would need to save up. Keep up the great work.
There is baler called quick bale. It is a moded version of fast bale. It can wrap 180cm silage bales, and it can bale round bales without stopping.
Also the round bale autostacker can hold 24 11000lt bales, while the square one can hold 14 9000lt bales.
i just love quick bale. it also has a bigger pick up box

Lots done in this video! Maybe consider moving the feed shed (and maybe Silage Pit) into the animal compound for short trips there. Would be worth extending your road out to there as well.

Have you thought about a manure factory all you need is straw in the factory and outcomes manure for your methane because the silage is worth more than more than straw or manure

Viewer request: would you please consider making some pathways (gravel/tarmac) for places you drive a lot? Keep a bit more space around the water tower and greenhouses, and around the productions, please? (no need to move the water tower, just keep a bit more space around it). I would really appriciate that. Driving in the crops might not be an issue in FS22 or it only has minor yield loss, but it's just the principle or ruining something that you did work for before. Like this series!
Loving the series Dag. The productions area is a good idea, keeping triggers together to get easy and fast access, the cows and related storage would be good out the ‘front’ near the methane silo, and then more grass storage between the sheep triggers, being a bit leaner, less movement waste, more winning 🏅
Plus think it’s worth while putting proper field grass in as better yield, time saving etc. plus you can still drive on grass with out destroying it, right?
Big square bailer and auto staker would be more manageable, might be worth looking at the feed mixer first to see which bail size makes the mixing easier
It's clearly those specks of grass in your field which are confusing the workers.
Said so from the beginning: Plow those patches, make sure there's no more patches of grass in the field, and you'll finally be able to have the worker do the entire field...
go with the round baler with the wrapper then you can sell the silage pit , your current baler and the loading wagon. And you will be able to do silage bales too.
Great episode again! You can fill the water from the store and its free it is so much quicker than your water tank is. Also please get a square baler it will cost a bit but with you doing cows and sheep as well as straw it will be so much quicker!
Isn't the water 1₤/litre, saw Chainsaw fill their tanker and they paid 32₤

highly recommend the automated cow shed only downside is buying the mineral feed maybe a manure silo if you want to do the straw bedding.

Great job Dag! loving the series, you sould maybe sell the rest of the trees that are left and then sell the sawmill so you have more room for the field. Keep up the good work
If you get a fermenting silo, you can turn all of that straw into silage. Just an idea. :)
hey enjoying the series just a suggestion try using the CoursePlay mod (ai worker mod)
AI worker to the next level. Sow, harvest and plow smarter:
- use headlands
- work on irregularly shaped fields, not just rectangles
You should rotate the Mushroom/Flower greenhouse to where the water deposit point is lined up with the other Greenhouse. You can then move the water silo to where it’s also lined up with them against your road. You will then be able to just drive forward and back up without having to turn around and make your fields smaller for more space.
I'm not a round bale fan, but the Quick Quick round baler you don't have to stop to unload every time.

You should put a Silage silo/pit next to the methane, also gives you plenty space for future cows near the silage
It's long past due to sell the small equipment, even though not worth much. Sell them, keep upgrading, push on
You might benefit from a mowing and bail shed near the sheep and later cows.

FYI! I believe you can use the chainsaw to remove tree stumps, I saw Farmer Cop do that. That would make things easier for you I think. :)

Hey daggerwin you do know that the ai stops when it registers a stump? So its a good indicator for where all the stumps are in the field, its like a 2 second job to clear them out so the ai can job better 😀😀

I think you should get the mod that allows you to put the product spawn point where you want it to be. Then you can put the wool spawn point into the delivery point of the spinnery and the output of the spinnery in the delivery point of the clothing factory.
Why would you output the spinnery to the tailor when you can just set the fabric to distributing
I think you should try get chickens when you've got whenat and place a silo to hold it

Considering the cost of the harvester, like cotton, while its possible, it would be a long time to recoup the cost of the harvester by the output, remember leasing/renting is not allowed in this series, so be looking at a half a million or moreto get a basic harvester,
ur going to need a new plot just for grass at this rate dags hmm also looks like you need a loop track maybe around the greenhouses/silage pit?

tell you what you can probably put some dirt or gravel down in the middle of the sheep complex. especially if your gonna be getting some cow's you want something that both look's better and is better to drive on. instead of just driving on the grass non stop.
You really need to look at the fast baler on mod hub because you don't have to stop when unloading bales and it bales 180cm silage bales.
Upgrade spinnery. No need to buy another. AND MOVE THAT WATER TANK so a truck can pull up beside it NOT turn into it .

I think if you cant rent than the cotton harvester s probably a bit too much. I would be more inclined to think you would do cotton on your texas series. Wool alone soulf be finne even if you get a second spinnery clothing production. I think unless you go ALL in on cotton buying the harvester is too much.

Right I'm fed up of watching the unrealistic scrape past the greenhouse, delete and replace the greenhouses so you can fill them up from the road. In real life you would just pipe it round so just knock £400 off when you change your money back for "piping equipment"
