I'd strongly suggest rotating the water tank, and the various greenhouses so that they're all facing the same direction along the trackway, so that you're not constantly running over your field or having to navigate tough turns.
I agree with this one, having the expansion tanks on the same side as the main tank for the greenhouse and that side being facing the path will allow you to not sacrifice crop to tyres or have to sacfrice your field to make more area to drive trucks. And having that water tower rotated 90 degrees so the valve is facing the path will make it so much easier.
I would suggest that you put concrete around the greenhouses so that you are not running over your crop. Also, as someone suggested earlier, get rid of the saw mill, and turn that space into more crop land.
nice work moving towards cotton. Just FYI (I am sure others have already mentioned it before), spraying your crop with herbicide before the first growth cycle yields more crop. I tested it on NML the other day, my 16.02 acre field nettted 6.9% extra crop in liters when I sprayed before the first growth cycle compared to spraying with a narrow tire self propelled sprayer after the weeds had grown to large size. The field info still said 100% yield bonus for both times, the game seems to simulate weeds killing off crops that grow right at the same spot the weed develops. Getting it before germination prevents the loss. For the exact numbers, I posted a comment over on PCPlayerMalc!'s video of his Episode 36 on his own survival challenge that is following the same rules as this series. Additionally Chainsaw has been religiously spraying all his fields with herbicide before the first growth stage since the beginning so he has been getting nearly 7% more crops this entire time. Doesnt sound like much, but could make the difference at the end since you guys are fairly close to eachother currently.
What you’re doing is fantastic! You know I will be honest, at the start I was questioning how this series would go after odd decisions. But it’s not my place to tell you how to play your game. I’m very glad to say that even through that this is my favourite series to watch (right behind role play of course 😂) because it’s very satisfying to see you progress aswell as you’re still keeping it entertaining. In my head before last weeks episode I was thinking that you should put dirt down in your yard atleast and then you concreted it which is great! So I hope you atleast see this part of my message. Daggerwin, people will always criticize, it’s unfortunate. But you’re doing a great job and you’re such an amazing content creator! Keep up the great work, keep playing the game you love, how you love!
Doing good! "If" you lose this the fault will be in not keeping the sawmill going! You should have been feeding that all along, it has just sat for episode after episode now. That was a lot of profit you lost out on. I understand it is a time issue, but you could have afforded the five minutes a day to cut down a couple trees and keep it fed.
if i recall there were problems that were crashing the server and corrupting the game saves with the cut trees so orobabky that is why he does not do it anymore
@klawypl I believe they narrowed that down to using the winch with branches left on the trees. In any case chainsaw is keeping his sawmill and furniture production going and using the winch with no further problems.
Something to consider; another spinnery and even another tailor is more than an increase in capacity, it is an increase in production. You effectively double your output. As long as you have the product to keep it supplied. Better to have two or even three spinneries at 25% capacity than a single one at 100% capacity.
Daggerwin i know you probably wont do it but if i were you id move saw mill, pit, the water tower and green houses to infront of the sheep then you can make that field massive. I would also do maize sliage to sell, put in gas plant and feed to cows. Love the videos too
6 sheep pens can run 3 spinners that can keep 2 clothing Taylors going. I think selling the cotton is better than using it for clothes. Just from my experience. Great video, good luck
Something I like to do with productions, rather than edit the xml, is to use control V to overlap two or more of the same production. You can place two tailor shops back to back and overlap the buildings just slightly to make a single large building. This saves on the footprint so you dont waste a lot of space. I usually set up three iron furnaces this way with the input chutes all converging in the same area. You cannot overlap the triggers but you can get them close.
The big difference between you and chainsaw is that he will do all you’ve done plus turned that soybean field fully around. He’s efficiency and smart decisions is what will bring him the victory
I just noticed that the store also sells manure, which you could use to produce methane. All three of the inputs for gold: methane, stones and water, could be produced without any fieldwork.
If you mulch the weeds, you get a yeild bonus and then if you use a weeder straight after planting before they grow, you wont need to spray. Its hard to get right though as you wont see a change on the ground

I believe the perfect ratio of spinnary to clothes factory is 2.5 to 1. So if you build 5 spinaries and 2 clothes factories that should max out your production.
Dosent matter if you win or not, you win anyway because your videos are way better than his. Don't even watch some subtitle crap. I forget it's multiplayer. This is best series your doing at moment. Do what you want and don't give a toss what ppl say you should and shouldn't do.
At this point in the series I doubt it matters much. They arent relying on crops for income as much as the productions. Field work is just a time filler for videos while the productions work in the background.

It's funny, you look at the price of the cotton harvester, and granted it is a lot of money, but look at all you have spent on nickle and dime stuff! Two lorries, needless tractors, all the sheds and landscaping, constant upgrades on things that really dont increase your productivity that much...Listen, I don't begrudge you this stuff, penny-pinching will actually LOSE you the game every time. You have to spend money to make money. And you have a LOT of latitude in the big picture to squander money. As efficient as Chainsaw is he really isnt ahead of you because he is idling along just smelling the roses. You know, going back to my previous post, the lost income from the sawmill more than pays for that cotton harvester. It really isnt that huge an investment, if you sell off your unused and unneeded surplus equipment you could probably make a third of the cost back right there.
i have enjoyed this competitive multiplayer, but i feel the gold production is spoiling it a little, not so much the gold production but the buying of the stones, i feel the balance of the gold mine is weighted to the difficulty of stone gathering, essentially you are turning manure/silage into gold, as the water and stones are so cheap to gather... fyi also you can quickly fill water tankers at the stone fill station also
Buying stones for gold seems a bit easy. I'd have preferred you got them from your fields. But unless you go for an unrealistic stone picker, it is a very time-consuming job. Even course play doesn't help by allowing a stone picker to self unload.
I would certainly get rid of all the tress inside the fields... otherwise AI workers are never going to be able to work in those fields. They just are not smart enough to go around obstacles.

I don't know if you mind this or anything but I will update you on my play along :) I harvested my Sorghum and planted Oats in preparation for my first grape harvest to make cereal. I built a workshop with a pressure washer and fuel tank to service my vehicles and the grape factory. I learnt my Valtra Q305 can fit between the grape vines, so will try that instead of the little tractor I got. I also want to see if I can have 2 pruners going when that happens. Also a wider mulcher with the extra power the Valtra brings. My Soybeans, Corn, Sugar beets, and grass fields are growing. Chickens are eating the Sorghum I harvested. I didn't sell anything personally. Waiting for November to sell the eggs as I can't auto sell them sadly. With my 8 carpentries, 4 bakeries, and 2 nml greenhouses on auto sell, I made $203,932. My 6 solar panels and 1 wind turbine made me $33,947. Thanks if you read this, I am enjoying this series and playing along.
Double down on/increase gold production if you want to win this. Not convinced by the cotton, Chainsaw is already well in front with that and it's a lot more labour intensive than gold.
I dont know if this only me, but this cold production and buy ing stones makes this stuff boring. Yes it makes alot of money but it dosent feel right somehow.
My problem with the gold production is that it absorbs so many stones that trying to get them off the field is absurd. It forces you to pay for stones to make it work. I would agree that driving the methane over and also giving it water would b better if he keeps buying stones.
There are those big rocks on this maps. There should be rock crusher for skedsteer so you can crush and use those. I think this gold production was made with plan to use those not field stones

It's a pity. I used to watch these series in suspense thinking who will win. Now I just watch them with a great amount of meh, knowing nothing extra will happen. The suspense of competitive and mutliplayer has died out totally for me.
The price of the base game large hive is $19,000. It takes around two years to make that back. From then on it is pure profit but a single hive will only get you less than $1000 in a good month, nothing in the winter.

Hey daggerwin. You should buy water from the store. A full tanker is about 30£ and it fills much faster

You could use a conveyer to move silage from pit. Could save you some time

I would just make it part of the field. That way the worker doesn't have issues. There are plenty of other places for more production.

Due to the lack of interactions between you and chainsaw100, it is sometimes hard to remember that this is a competitive multiplayer series.
I know you will have a lot but why not do all the things needed for Max Yield. lime, and rolling would give you more.
Thats to stressful for him he thinks three fields is to much for him and remember he doesn't use worker use Efficiently.
