  • Fly Me to the Moon, originally titled “In Other Words”. It is a song written in 1954 by Bart Howard. Frank Sinatra’s 1964 version was closely associated with the Apollo missions to the Moon. It was originally composed in 3/4 time, but Quincy Jones changed it to a 4/4 jazz ballad in his arrangement for Frank Sinatra. The last time Tom Jobim was in a studio was in 1994, months before his death, when he recorded Fly Me to the Moon for Sinatra’s Grammy winning album Duets II. As a tribute to Sinatra and Jobim, we render it as a 2/4 Bossa Jazz version.
Marpessa DeMoraes - vocals and classical guitar (Craviola)
    Renato De Moraes - flute
