驚喜！苗栗三灣．老銃櫃古道變五星級步道了！浪漫台3線，幸福百分百！

老銃櫃古道位於苗栗縣三灣鄉的北埔村，銃櫃的「銃是指種舊式的槍械武器。櫃，客語話是指儲藏。「銃櫃」是儲藏槍械的彈藥庫，意指隘防堡壘，地名反映了早期漢人以武裝拓墾山林的歷史。老銃櫃步道全長約1.5公里，沿途起伏不大，路況良好，大約40~45分鐘即可走完。
步道有兩個入口，一位於苗5鄉道，一位於五寶慈湖禪寺。可以從任一步道入口進入，走至另一步道入口，再走台3線公路，回到原入口，完成環狀的健行路線。
The Laochonggui Historical Trail is located in Beipu Village, Sanwan Township, Miaoli County. The "Chong" in Laochong refers to old-style firearms and weapons. The "Gui" means storage in Hakka. The "Chong-Gui" is an ammunition warehouse for storing firearms. The name of the Laochonggui reflects the history of the early Han people reclaiming mountains and forests with arms. The Laochonggui Trail is about 1.5 kilometers in length, with little ups and downs along the way, and good road conditions. It takes about 40 to 45 minutes to complete.
There are two entrances to the trail, one is located at Miao 5 Township Road, and the other is at Wubao-Cihu Zen Temple. You can enter from the entrance of any trail, walk to the entrance of another trail, and then take the Tai 3 Line Highway to return to the original entrance to complete the circular hiking route.

【交通資訊】（Traffic Information）
★大眾運輸：無直達公車。從苗栗竹南火車站西出口搭苗栗客運5806到員林站（車程約50分）下車後直走台3線約20分, 看到99.6咖啡廳，進入苗5鄉道, 再走500公尺, 至古道入口。
★自行開車：Google地圖衛星導航輸入「台三線99.6咖啡」，即可抵達台3線99.6Kh的苗5鄉道入口。續行駛苗5鄉道約0.5公里，即可看見老銃櫃古道入在道路左側。或Google地圖衛星導航輸入「五寶慈湖禪寺」，從五寶慈湖禪寺進入老銃櫃古道。禪寺牌樓旁設有停車場（停車費每次100元, 自行投入奉獻箱)
★Public transportation: There is no direct bus. From the west exit of Miaoli Zhunan Railway Station, take Miaoli Bus 5806 and get off at Yuanlin Stop (about 50 minutes by bus) and walk straight on Tai 3 Line Highway for about 20 minutes. You will see 99.6 Cafe Restaurant , enter Miao 5 Township Road, and walk 500 meters. , To the entrance of the ancient road.
★Drive by yourself: Enter "Tai 3 Line 99.6 Coffee" in Google Maps satellite navigation to reach the entrance of Miao 5 Township Road at 99.6K on Tai 3 Line Highway. Continue driving Miao 5 Township Road for about 0.5 kilometers, and you can see the Laochonggui Historical Trail entering the road on the left. Or enter "Wubao-cihu Zen Temple" in Google Maps satellite navigation, and enter the Laochonggui Historical Trail from Wubao-cihu Zen Temple. There is a parking lot next to the archway of the temple (parking fee NT$100 each time, put in the dedication box by yourself)
