Best crossover explaination I've ever seen.
Thank you 🥰 you welcome 🙏
This is a great introduction to crossover components. Thank you very much.
This was very well illustrated and helpful for getting a frame of reference for how much each affects the sound. 😊🌎✨
Thank you for your support 👍🙏🙏🙏
best teaching video ever! no fluff!
Thank you very much, i just give what i got 😉
kthorn excellent
Great Presentation . Never saw it that way before. Thanks !

@Homemade Audio it would be very helpful
Great!
Thank you my friend 👍
en realidad cuál es negativo y positivo? debe llevar un orden filtró y bobina en el positivo!
yo use una aplicacion xsim es genial para diseñar un crossover
What's the value resistor in passive crossover and what's the function of resistor in It. Thank you
Resistors on series in crossover are for reducing sound level
So positive on the circuit diagram is above negative but the red connector is below the black one. But red is positive????
mantap
Terima kasih banyak

Very useful video. No chat, just visual examples. Exactly how my mind works and made me understand much better. Thanks.
Thank you 🙏 you welcome 🥰
This is the first video anyone should watch if they are interested in speaker building. Thank you!
@@rpaUkes thank you so much for your great comment 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
For dumb dumbs like myself , seeing and hearing the explanation makes all the difference. Thank you for your time and effort.
You welcome 🙏

Please make video on how to phase match each drivers with such crossovers
It's a very important things but not now to do, i must go step by step with my followers, phase is the last step.

Best video I have seen on crossover DIY's. Thank you!
You welcome Sir 🙏
Amazing video. Very practical easy to understand with examples
thanks I was looking for a video as well done as yours again thank you very much
thank you for your comment, you welcome 🙂
Someone actually gives the people a proper understanding of and with proper visuals!!!! Thank you!
Very good to explain how network cross over work, thanks you very much
You welcome
Am I right you put all items in the '+' signal?? Because the connectors on the left, black would be + in this case, right? (normally red is + signal.
ood day boss
question boss .... can you please make a video for 1000w cross over network.. for tutorial..
thanks and more power.
You are very good teacher. Excellent video.
👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
This is a fantastic video!!Thank you!!
Is it possible to give us some more details about the values of the resistors ,the capacitors and the coils that can be used?
Thank you.
The target of the video is to know the crossover job on speakers.
For values there's many crossover calculator applications, but it's better to use web crossover calculators because they're easy to ise for beginners.
@@homemade_audio Thank you for your response. The reason i asked the question is this AUDYN 450v capacitor you are using which sounds like giving a boost to the sound when is connected despite the fact that is cutting the high frequencies.I did the same experiment using an old Tesla cap 50uf 250v and an 8 inch jbl woofer and the effect was not the same. The high frequencies where cut but without affecting the overall performance of the speaker. So my question is :using a hi end capacitor like the one you are using will affect the overall sound of the speaker or maybe it was my idea that something like that happened in the video? Thanks omce again for the beautifull video.
@Dimitris Raggas the component values you use will depend specifically on the response your drivers are capable of.
The crossover is used to tune the signals that are permitted to flow through to your speaker/drivers.
To cut high frequency signals from your woofers and prevent low frequency signals getting to your tweeters etc
You can't slap a low pass filter capacitor on a mid range speaker and miraculously obtain 15Hz bass notes from it.
Crossover is there to distribute the signals to the drivers that they are capable of reproducing only
It appears the woffer is getting srtressed?
Yes correct sounds much louder if there is no lowpass filter just use good speaker specifically with bigger magnets
Very simple and impressive. Thank you! 👏
❤ Thank you very much for illustrating the sounds. Finally someone serious who really explains and also shows the differences in sounds. But I now understand that every company has its spectrum of sounds.
Its and everything depends on the type of capacitors.
looks like this is the best explained video on youtube. thanks
😇👍👍👍
like the others said....best video to understand that....GREAT, thank you
Thank you my friend 🙏👍
simple demo yet super CLEAR INFORMATIVE.. thanks po ng marami 😁
🥰🙏
easy for understand, better than ton of theory.
remove 24 db in the speaker what is the correct value of the capacitor
I learnt a lot, thanks so much.

Great simple video that doesn't over complicate things.
Thank you my friend 🙏🙏🙏
perfect, thank you
Thank you 👍
Beautiful!

superb explanation of crossovers thank you
Excelente video, una pregunta, existe algo como un crossover de 3er orden?
Yes , but for 3rd and more it's better to go for powered active crossover
Cool...thanks for sharing.
by mistake i bought 300gms of 24awg copper wire, for making air core inductors for crossover. ☹
helpfully information! thanks brother
Thank you 🥰🥰🥰
thnak you so much! this explains so much about what I was looking for!

Thank u sir.. you made things look easier ..
That's the target of channel
Can u please make a similar video for 4th order crossover to play via yamaha v6a avr . I'm planning 8ohms 50watts woofer . 8ohms 30watts mid and a 20 watts silk dome tweeter..it is said that 100 watt cab be obtained from each channel
Is my selection of speakers right for 100 watt each channel avr ??? Or any changes to be made ???
Mid and woofer both of 83 db sensitivity.
Thank you, very useful sharing
Thank you, I'm very happy to hear nice words 😋🙏🙏🙏
does it not matter if I use this same method into my 700watts speaker?
No. Caution with inductor core. Don't use ferrite core. Use air core inductors.
Hi would the midrange crossover still allow low bass to pass through?
No, the bass destroys midrange's driver!!!
In any driver, only the frequencies supported by the driver are allowed to pass through the crossover
Thank for your help

You welcome 👍
cool
Thank you 👍🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much.
All of these videos are great and all....but all I want to know is what side do I hook the speaker to...the input or the output???
不要用紅色線圈壞了低頻
Very helpful video. I am wiring 2 way crossover with woofer and tweeter with two resistors on the tweeters one in series and one in parallel. Do I wire them in between the tweeter and connection to the crossover?
get some alligator clips, it will make your setup much easier.
So first order band pass filter. Use cap coil resistor is that corect?
Found again.
Thanks! Audio is wonderful.
🙏🙏🙏
It was very useful
Thank you!
Thank you 🙏
Would love to see a crossover for Wilson or von shwkiert speakers
wow man thank you, really really helped me out, appreciated
Hi. What sort of a Resistor should I used to match speakers (4 ohms) with my amplifier (6 ohms). 2 ohms of resistor (s) in series is fine right...? What about the resistors power ( like 5w, 10w so on).
TIA 😊
Adding a resistor to a loudspeaker does not vary its impedance, but the overall resistance of the circuit. To vary the impedance it is necessary to use an impedance transformer.
adding a resistor ( 2ohms 10 watts) can protect your amp but it can also change the speaker response.
Thanks, i needed this in my life
You welcome
very clear explanation
Thanks you for your great words 🙏
What a great video, thank you!
