They're definitely worth trying! The covers are nice and stretchy, so they fit for quite a while. And I like that the fitted diapers are organic. I'll have to get back to watching your videos soon. I've been busy! 💜 Heidi
Oooh, thank you for another very useful video! I wasn't going to watch it because I don't think you can buy Esembly in Europe. But I clicked anyway... The ruffle trick is a great idea!!! Thank you for sharing 💞
Hi Heidi! Do you think the outer would work well over a newborn flat or a newborn prefold? I’d like a pretty trim fit. We use wool but I’m looking for something more convenient for outings. Since we EC and change frequently the inside doesn’t have to be that absorbent… thanks!
Hi! Esembly outers have a pretty loose roomy fit. So the flat or prefold would need to be fastened securely on Baby to stay in place. The cover won't hold it in place much. For an economical option, I like Cloth-eez covers from Green Mountain Diapers. 💜 Heidi
@@marydiamondhealey Yes, I do! We are still using the size 1 inner and outer at 11 weeks old, 12 pounds. The inner washes well and the outer is nice and stretchy.
Yes, I do use the Esembly inner under wool bubble shorts. I've paired it with a medium Babee Greens side snapping wool cover, as well. At first when it was loose around the legs I didn't trust it under wool. Maybe once he was about 9-10 lbs and it fit him well, I was okay with using it under wool. It would also work fine under other brands of polyester diaper covers. But as far as polyester goes, I do like the Esembly outer. 💜Heidi
@@ECpeesy I just received them today! Due August 2nd... I'm debating on buying 12 of the newborn size GMD workhorse fitted as well but I'm trying to save as much money as possible. The ultrasound techs keep telling me he's going to be a big baby. LOL, so I may not need them.
@@collectivelydivine Congratulations! You could try the trick of tucking in the ruffles of the Esembly inners around the legs, to make them fit tiny little newborn legs.
My baby mostly wore tee shirts with cloth diapers. Or loose style jogger pants. Esembly diapers are pretty trim as far as cloth diapers go. They may require sizing up for tight leggings. 💜 Heidi
I've been wanting to try this brand!! Thanks for the review Heidi! ☺️

I wish I would have known that trick in time to try it on my baby!
@@ECpeesy I guess you'll have to have another baby 😉
Id love more esembly reviews!

@@ECpeesy thanks! We use snappis and jelly roll anyway. I hope the esembly ones work out, I love their colors and that they’re recycled
@@claudiahoffmeister7363 Ah, yes! I also love that they are recycled.
Thank you, this was helpful!!
You're welcome! Are you thinking of getting Esembly diapers?

Have you tried pairing the esembly inner with any of your wool covers? Would it work as an inner with other types of outers?

Do I have to wash them a few times before they absorb well, since they’re organic cotton?
Esembly inners come already prepped, so you only need to wash the inners and outers once before use. 💜 Heidi
@@ECpeesy ok thank you
