Hey Tyler.. Just discovered your channel and love the quality content. Just a suggestion, you could have put the names of all the equipment in the description. I immediately went there to see what kind of camera you used but didn't see anything:(
@@Sev-l7z that’s a good call. I didn’t even think to do that since this wasn’t really specifically about the exact gear itself but I’ll do that in the future for sure. My main camera is a Sony fx3 with a 50mm f1.4 btw. Thanks for watching!
Hi Tyler, I don’t think you mentioned which iPhone version you’re using (apologies if I missed it!). Is it a Pro model, and if so, which one-14, 15, etc.? Some side-by-side footage would be great for comparison as well, and I’d recommend keeping the same angle at a specific point to make it easier to evaluate. Loved the idea of pulling in the softbox for comparison rather than just describing it-nice touch! 🤞
I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. I agree that this definitely wasn't a super apples to apples comparison. I was trying to think of how most people would be using these devices to make content in the real world. There's certainly things you can do to improve the output quality (like log shooting on the iphone) but I wanted to keep it super quick and high-level. If people want to see how to get the most out of their devices, I am open to making a video about that too. I think I have the iphone 15 promax btw
💯💯💯
