Feel for Mounga, and you can tell he is frustrated and hurt. He is blinded and a victim of a stubborn coach who is losing player depth as he continues to use the same players and shunt new players with minimal game time, and this is why our substitutes are ineffective. Also, always choosing the same players, like the Barret brothers, doesn't allow for an alternative option using Mounga and Jordan, who needs game time to adjust. It's selfish not to give these guys a chance who have the talent and want the team to win.

Maybe those sabbaticals of the southerners top players are finally paying dividends for the north. I’ve literally witnessed entire squads of elite southern international players up and leave to play up north. Maybe the NZRU, ARU, SARU’s chasing of coin has led to this current situation.

Main engine does not seem to be firing and structurally this ship is falling apart. Need new everything - head coach, skill coaching, game plan etc. Not for the WC23 but for the future of the AB franchise. I recall a loss in SA in 2004. Head coach GH sat everyone down and together made the call that they were not playing as a team but as individuals (entitlement), not to mention the alcohol abuse after test matches. So a new culture was born. Time for a rebirth I guess.
