Finally a video that's to the point! Instead of a 48 minute video but they're talking for 47 minutes before they actually get to the point!

Thank you that answered all my questions short and simple but straight to the point

Best and seemingly accurate method. Thanks so much for being straight to the point and aware.

that is CRAZY to drill many holes to attach a flat plate to the roof.

Looks good, I am wanting to get rid of antena as well though going to put new roof membrane on what do you suggest using flat piece sheet metal & just glue it down over the hole before laying down the roofing membrane?

Thanks for this! After you scraped off the excess butyl tape around the edges what did you clean the surface with? Acetone? Mineral spirits? Denatured alcohol?

      Becky Jackson I used alcohol

@@DesertSandsVintageTrailerPark Thanks! One more question... will this work on a rubber roof?

    • @DesertSandsVintageTrailerPark

@@beckyjackson9555 I would try and find the similar material to your rubber roof, cut out a small square to cover the area then use Eternabond tape

Any idea what type of screws were used for the metal plate? Also what kind of poodie was that used to bond the plate to the roof and hopefully help keep leaks out

Butyl Tape. Supposed to be in any seem where there are screws (or rivots).

I don’t remember how thick but something pretty thin will work

Sorry I forgot to show that. I got some white plastic and cut it into a circle and stuck it on with glue.
