We were trying to catch some shad for bait using for striper and catfish fishing. But we caught a lots of little crappie instead.

I tried it for the first time today. It takes a little practice. But I actually caught some blugills and shad on kentucky lake. Mine was a small 4 ft net. When I get as good as this guy I'll buy a 7 or 8 ft net.

Smaller size netting will prevent from Gill netting if you get on that don't poem backwards pull them forward through less chance of harming anything conservation ethics
