  • Happy Valentines day Flyer Hockey Style
    the start of the video is a fight between Todd Fedoruk vs Francis Lessard
    Dale Purinton vs Todd Fedoruk
    Donald Brashear vs Matthew Barnaby with Purinton as third man in that caused some chaos, watch for Peter Nedved getting body slammed
    Brashear is going after Bobby Holik
    but then
    Brashear vs Chris Simon, Brashear trips.
    Fedoruk hits Ortmeyer and gets tripped up
    Markov and Lundmark do their thing on the side
    first its Sharp vs Lacouture, then it pans over to Lundmark vs Markov and thats the end of it.
    I do not own copyrights to NHL material, i am simply a hockey fan sharing it to the other fans.

    When you remember actually watching these games and these players and then do the math. Time really does fly.
    Fridge AND Brashear on the ice for the Flyers! Yikes.

    in my opinion getting rid of patrick sharp was a mistake made by the flyers

      No. Trading Richardson for Timander and McGillis for Knuble were awful decisions. Not to mention getting rid of Cechmanaek and retiring Tocchet. That IMHO was the worst decision they made. Period.

    I miss this NHL. Some of these guys wouldn't survive the prelock out NHL. This was when heavys could play and there were just more than one tough guy in the lineup.

    The Brash/Barnaby dustup with Purinton jumping in... first thing the refs needed to do was get Barnaby off the ice, not Brashear. The F'ed that up.

    @Flyers20Fan Still, you can't compare the Flyers and the Kings. We are a much younger team. And we DO have great fans. Come on down here and you'll see. Who the fuck wants to live in Philly anyways?

    Barnababy was lucky that Purinton jumped to the rescue. I loved Barnaby and wish there were more characters like him in today's hockey... but man he always got pummeled. A fight against Brashear wouldn't have had very nice outcome. Haha.

Try reading some shit on puck daddy and downgoesbrown and you'll get the jokes, fucking pissjar.

    @sortman94 Yeah i wish he came back to phoenix so i could keep watching him play, he was fucking awesome, instead he went and played a diminishing role after a while in that old crappy minnesota system that lemaire had which caused him to leave. He's a leading scorer in the KHL actually

  • @thinkingjack
    @thinkingjack  14 ปีที่แล้ว

    @WhySoSeerious they did show some good spirit and i do agree, they probably wont make it again, the pronger effect only lasts his first year with every team

    @Flyers20Fan Oh my God. You know what, I'm born and rasied in LA, but I'm half Swedish, and I live in Stockholm at the moment. Take a look at my fav team over here: AIK Stockholm. The biggest team in Scandinavia. Swedes have a different supporter culture than we have, and it's fucking awesome. I've never seen anything like it. Just watch the clip and u'll see what I mean.
    I have two clips for you:
    here: /watch?v=lon-Fs_Vhtk
    and here: /watch?v=Db-wDUXDaVc
    No NHL team is even close to that huh?

  • @GetStuffed04
    @GetStuffed04 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @Flyers20Fan Yup. The only thing is that, after watching Swedish hockey, NHL feels kinda lame (I'm talking about the fans now). Obviously, we (NHL) have a better league (The Swedish Elite League is ranked 3rd in the world), but the fans here are insane. It's so damn cool. Can't wait for next season to start. And I love the Kings, but like u said, Philly's always been a hockey town.

  • @billymurph8125

    YOU CAN TELL THE FANS HATED FIGHTING. THE ARENA IS SO QUIET. LETS TAKE FIGHTING OUT OF THE SPORT THAT WAY WE HAVE HALF EMPTY ARENAS THAT SOUND LIKE YOU JUST WALKED INTO A LIBRARY. JOB WELL DONE. RIP-NHL IT WAS GREAT. THANK GOD FOR TH-cam. NOW THE NHL=NO HIT LEAGUE,,,,,

  • @GetStuffed04
    @GetStuffed04 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @Flyers20Fan Yeah, I agree. We do have good fans, but we're no way near the Swedes (especially the two teams based in Stockholm, AIK Stockholm and Djurgarden). But anyways, I agree, you have good fans. The thing is, LA's not really a hockey town, but we do actually have alot of die hard fans.

  • @thinkingjack
    @thinkingjack  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @sortman94 He was a good part of that team, one of my favorite players, so was timander and of course dejardins

  • @GetStuffed04
    @GetStuffed04 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @Flyers20Fan Yeah, gonna miss Simmonds for sure. I'm just glad we got to keep Quick, though. He saved us more than once last season. Still can't get that damn game 3 against the Sharks outta my head. Ugh...

    last i saw him he was eating steak, does that answer your question?

  • @sortman94
    @sortman94 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @thinkingjack Yeah it really sucks seeing a role player not doing so great because of the system and whatnot. And that's good. Hopefully he's getting the respect he deserves over in the khl too

  • @sortman94
    @sortman94 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @thinkingjack Yeah I loved Timander, and always liked Desjardins. I also always liked Radivojevic, hard to dislike him with a name like that haha

  • @sortman94
    @sortman94 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @thinkingjack True true. He had a pretty bright future but the team was so deep in 04 and 06 so he didn't get the ice time he deserved. I'm glad he got to play more in Minnesota. I wonder what he's up to nowadays. Probably KHL or something.

    I'm sure Brashear lost it because Kamensky chirped him that he bailed on Simon and clearly wanted no part of him.

      @SIoyvenheaven1T800m101 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Slipped on a stick, not a bail. At this point in their respective careers, Brashear would have wrecked Simon.

      @khav11 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      SIoyvenheaven1 wrecked? no way, beat him probably, only cairns could take on brashear at the time.
