    This dude is extremely talented. The only down side to watching his videos is that just when I think to myself, "you're getting pretty good!", he plays something insanely fast and clean and I immediately realize I still suck.

    • @michaeljimenez239
      @michaeljimenez239 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    • @shuplitz2257
      @shuplitz2257 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      To be more precise, he plays something insanely fast and clean and then tells you that that actually was the wrong version that he intentionally messed up so now he can teach you how to fix it 😅

      Dont be sad about that. It means you are taking baby steps to improve your playing.
      I get worried when I see musicians who believes they know too much. Thats why I quit my bands and begin studying all the simple things that someday I believe Will make me feel secure to play lead guitar, but aware that i need to study forever. Greetings from Brazil! 🤝

    Just discovered you a few weeks ago. I'm self taught and have been playing on and off for over 20 years but was frustrated with my progress for a long time. Your videos have helped me improve GREATLY in just those few weeks. Your back to basics exercises that I practiced wrong for years (spider exercise for example lol) have made a drastic difference in my playing. I can't thank you enough for all the knowledge you share and for your positive approach to getting better on the guitar. Greetings from Kentucky and thanks again Bernth!!!!!!

    Yesterday I did your arpeggio exercise from a few days back.. for like an hour. I was so mad my timing is shit and felt like I go nowhere. Now, I still haven't gone anywhere because this video is like 20 minutes old when I write this, but I am so glad you did one on the topic. Edit: Funny too, I noticed yesterday I always keep my index finger on the frets, thats why my left hand cramps up when doing certain patterns.

    One of your videos helped me out a lot. I've realized that my left-hand position was wrong. I was holding the guitar at an angle and I just couldn't build speed with my left hand. I've been playing for 20 years and had 3 guitar teachers and nobody pointed it out before. Thanks a lot!!! Keep up the good work.

      They aren't necessarily deliberate dislikes. I have quite often accidentally clicked the dislike button when scrolling down on my iPad. I have even fallen asleep while watching, then I've woken up to find my hand resting on the screen and realised I've clicked the like or dislike buttons. if you don't realise you've accidentally clicked dislike then it stays on.
