This technique is amazing. After only using dip powder twice I tried this because you said it’s beginner friendly! OMG - is it ever!!! I used similar colors to what you used and they came out absolutely beautiful!!! I’ve gotten many compliments on them and nobody can believe I did them myself! I can’t wait to experiment with lots and lots of different colors!!! 👍👍👍❤️
This was so helpful! I was looking for something to do for my birthday and this video helped me get the perfect manicure for Friday! Only thing is three of my nails came out too dark. I already had a nudish pink on my nails from my previous mani so I left q later off that on and did the marble colors a hot pink and a blue color with the clear powder.
Oh wow!!! I thought for sure there was no way I would want to try this since I thought it would be so complicated, but you made it look so easy! I’m putting this on my list of things to try! They look amazing!
Aww Carol sent me the little tray too! I can't wait to try it out! It's so multipurpose and I DEFINITELY love that!! I always love your videos babe! This mani is so darn cute! 😍
@@SipAndDip hahaha I am avoiding doing a french too! I have been since I started dipping, I do love a good french manicure though! Lol I can't wait to try this little tray though, Carol is so sweet and she was so excited for me to try the tray lol I love your channel Chelsea! It's my pleasure to be here supporting you! 🥰🙌🏻😘
So gorgeous!! 😍 I’m going to have to figure out a color combo to try this with! Just starting out so don’t have a lot to choose from but I’m excited to try it!
That is beautiful! You've convinced me that I can do that! A question please. 1) what do you do with the left over powder...throw it away? And I have switched to using no wipe gel top coat with a light instead of the powder top coat. With the TC for powder I had to wait and do 2 coats..then the brush would be unusable for a second time. I was constantly changing the brush. Now after filing I rough it up slightly so the gel TC has something to grab. One coat, 60 seconds under the light and I'm done. I really prefer the gel top coat shine too.
I love this look, going to try marbeling today wish me luck 🤞 I totally understand dry nails and hands! I'm back at work in a school so sanitising our hands is a must, it's drying my hands so much they're cracking!!! 😭😭
Yayyy!! Can't wait to see what you think and what colors you pick. Ugh i totally understand the struggle!! I mean this in the least salesy way possible, but Candi's concentrated skin cream really is a game changer for dry hands. I have mine by my bedside and it has helped so much!
Girl white is definitely a struggle for me too. This is the most pigmented white I've ever seen! I will say applying white dip powder with gel liquids has been the easiest because I can clean it up without it drying fast. Other than that, just the normal dip application tips like not flooding your cuticles and using a toothpick to clean up. Sorry I don't have any better tips ! White is just one of those colors that is tricky. She does not play well with others lol!
I think the marble is so cool, but what do you do with the left over powder? I’ve wanted to try this method but don’t want to waste a bunch of product.
So I have see a few ladies stir it up a lot and use that to clear encapsulate. I have also see them store it for another mani. You could definitely stir it up and use as your own custom color 💕
The clear dip powder helps to protect it when you file and shape. You could do a layer of base liquid and let it dry instead as a protective layer. I don’t normally suggest this because it may not fully protect from filing / buffing. But as a last resort it’s better than nothing! 🫶🏻
So you’ve got a few options!! I’ve seen some discard. Some have mixed it thoroughly and used it as a topper/clear because so much of it is clear that if you mix it well enough it only has a small color hue. And I’ve seen others store it to use later. Just readding to it to make more marble designs or a whole new color 💕 happy dipping!
Chelsea, your videos are great! I just did a wonderful Modelones temperature-changing glitter dip. It's fun. I just cannot get it off!. I have soaked my nails in a ziplock bag with acetone, coconut oil, and old dryer sheet in very warm water. Not a smudge of this came off of my nails. I do not know what to do! please help!! Thanks, Angela
Oh no!! So sorry to hear this! Are you using 100% pure acetone and not nail polish remover? Have you tried filing it down some first before soaking? I’d use a 100 grit and remove a lot of the product first to see if that helps 🫶🏻
The website doesn’t say BUT I personally would say yes. Not all of them though. The white and tan are fully opaque after 2 dips. But the other colors are more on the jelly side. 💕
Activator is only needed after the last layer of dip powder. I wouldn’t say that it “hurts” anything but it could contaminate your base liquid brush 🫶🏻💗
You have a few options! I’ve seen some mix it up enough and use it as a clear because it’s so blended, you could bag it up and use it for a new shade to dip with, or toss. I think it’d be fun to reuse as a new dip or another base for another marble ! Like a French marble or full nail again. Possibilities are endless! 💕
Your right nails look different from the beginning of the video to the beginning of the marbling 😂. Anyways I love the final result as always. I still suck at marbling 😫
Clémence Thisy yes!! So I filmed the unboxing on one day and the little one woke up so my time ran out. And by the next day that set on my right hand popped off lol! So I ended up doing another whole right hand mani before figuring out what I wanted to do on the left. It took lots of practice swatch color combos before settling on this one. Def a few days went by 🤣 Girl I bet you don’t suck at all!! I did find some colors just were meh together. Maybe you just have to find another combo to try out! 💕

Such a pretty marble! I am going to try the brush method for a marble this weekend!
Ohhhh!!! You'll have to let me know how it goes!! I haven't tried that one yet!
I love it and you made it look easy. I'm going to try it the way you did it. Best video of marble dipping I've seen 👌 👏 😍

Do you save the marbled dip powder for next time or throw it out? Looks amazing and much easier than I had imagined:) Great video!

I just wanna know how long this lasts?
This is gorgeous!! now I want to do marble too. White is hard for me to apply - have any hacks for that?

Can you do this if you don't have the clear powder for the last layer?

What do you do/ how do you reuse the powder you used for the marble dip?
I personally dispose of mine but I have seen others mention they keep it and dip into it! Totally personal preference 🫶🏻
What do you do with the mixed color powder afterwards?
So you’ve got a few options!! I’ve seen some discard. Are they more like jelly colors?

Crap! Lol. I’ve been activating between each layer. Is that okay, or does it ruin something?
