Brilliantly easy to follow video as usual.
At last, a colour grading video that starts somewhere easy enough for even me to give it a go.... watch out for my Drone Adventures being far too colourful 😀😁😂

I know this is on old video but man it's useful. I'm pretty new to Resolve Studio amd I was having a nightmare getting my iphone HDR footage to look right. I've tried all sorts and this is the only thing that's actually worked. Thanks

Hi, any chance you can do another version of this for DaVinci Resolve 18? The controls, names and so on on the color tab are all different, so it's a bit confusing. Maybe you have already??? Thanks.

I've had a number of strange things happen with the adustment clip. First time, all seemed to go well but then all my videos went black with the adjustment clip added in the timeline and only went away when I removed it. I re-opened the program and started over. And I did that little trick with the adjustment clip - placing it in the timeline, then in the media pool, deleted the timeline clip and replaced it from the media pool. But, now, I stretched the adjustment clip across my timeline and when I made the changes (set up just as yours was) they only took effect from the point where my timeline cursor was (nothing prior was changed even though the clip was stretched across the entire project. Not sure what's going on there. Seems like a lot of bugs even though I have the latest version.

Awesome! How would you go about color grading dark footage? I'm starting to pick up live music recording and dark lit clubs are a difficult to get details w/ just the available light. I use a Samsung 360 for wide angle shots and a gopro hero 3plus for secondary angles.
