      Problem is..(if) it is a bad season..how many of the commits hang on..Will Texas come and offer Fasusi the bag? Texas is likely going to go 12-0...They could end up with the #1 class. Are we looking at a really bad loss in Dallas due to our oline? How far behind will tis program go if we run off a string of losses? Will Jayden O'Neal stay committed?

      @slimreaper9205 10 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +10

      Or maybe it was because Tennessee fumbled twice in the first half when they were trying to be aggressive on offense? OU's defense was able to get a decent amount of pressure on Tennessee's QB in the first half, which is what caused those fumbles. No one takes their foot off the gas with a 16-point lead and a whole half left to play, especially someone like Heupel who loves to run up the score. 16-point leads are nothing in modern football. Tennessee just didn't want to risk anymore turnovers, so they played it safe. OU's offense was such a disaster that it didn't matter.

It's like going out there against Von Miller and putting your backup OT in a 1v1 and letting him tee off on your QB. Mizzou looks very beatable, lsu, Auburn, and usc are winnable games for us. Maine should be a win column. That’s 8 wins if all goes right in those games and then sneak an upset against ole miss and you are right there man. I think the country saw what we saw last night, and that was Jackson Arnold losing a football game by himself. 3 turnovers that cost you 14 points and gave them 10. Completely different game with Hawkins at the helm to start.

Saying you can’t predict that is absolutely insane. 4 turnovers to Arizona, no 3rd down conversions against temple, worst offense we’ve seen at ou this century against Houston. Arnold playing like this was really the only conclusion. You could come to. Game is solely on him.

    The reason you couldn’t run the ball was much more about TN defense than it was about your offense. You had no chance to win this game with TN defense as they are, regardless of who starts at your QB. Heupel played very conservatively in the second half bc he knew the defense could win it. Had the TN offense played aggressively, the most likely outcome is they score at least two more touchdowns. Heupel almost always goes for it on 4th and 2 within the 40. And they would have gotten it, but he kicked the FG.
    Your defense played great, but don’t let that last trash time TD delude you into thinking you could have won this game.

Three and a half games into this season and he is nothing like the QBs we have been accustomed to seeing lately. Can’t see the field, and just not accurate. Michael Hawkins Jr. seems more relaxed and natural and can ad lib if need be and find other receivers or run and make broken plays succeed with his feet!. This game was very winnable for OU. Arnold and the co-OC’s are pretty much at fault here. Turnover battle was even at two apiece. Our Oline is trash. Tennessee Dline isn’t that damn good, but they were pancaking our Oline. I know coach B only has so much to work with, but damn. When you’re Oline are missing assignments left and right and the QB can’t go through even two or three of his progressions, it’s going to be a long night. Arnold is too turnover prone. Hawkins is a more dynamic run threat and he did a better job passing the ball as well. After last night, there should be no discussion of who the QB should be going forward. Littrell and Finley need to be demoted. They’re flat out not doing their jobs correctly. Brent screwed up not getting a legit OC. Is this season salvageable??? Danny and Billy are probably wondering why the hell they even came back for another year. The Defense is legit. They held Tennessee to 25 points and besides a busted play, it should have been less. OR, was Josh just taking it easy on us? Not wanting to humiliate OU for old times sake?!?! Time will tell.

    I can get used to winning games in different ways than we used too. But that means we have to have some show of competence Offensively. Every Offensive coach should feel they are in the hot seat right now. We are regressing. I do feel for Jackson Rattler. It must be a horrible feeling. But great high school players may not be great D1 players. Just like great D1 players don't make muster in the NFL. At what point do we have the right to start questioning Bill B's line coaching? People burn out. Our line looks like they (yes while injuries are some of the issue) are coached by a burned out leader.
