- Zach Braff very nearly missed his chance to play the part of JD in the hit show "Scrubs", but luckily his agent had a sneaky idea which put him back in the running to become one of televisions most beloved sitcom stars.

Scrubs was a perfectly cast sitcom. Every single actor in the show was absolutely perfect for their particular role. Still one of my fave sitcoms to this day.

My mom is a doctor and she says Scrubs is one the most accurate shows on what goes on in a hospital
So murderous janitors, hate-filled supervisors, jock-surgeons with an obsession to cut, and lots of sex in closets are accurate, according to this guys mom.

Was a great show. Not one person in the show had stardom to their name, but made it work. They took on the persona's of their character, almost to a fault for their future careers, but it was magic for Scrubs.
Excluding S9, the best ending for any show on modern TV.
I'd argue that even though he was never able to really parlay it into "stardom", John C. McGinley was a pretty well known actor. At least, in my eyes through Cliffhanger and other projects.

Scrubs is such an underrated show, imo Scrubs is the greatest US sitcom of all time.
It's one of the most popular and well received sitcoms of all time. How is it underrated?
@@LemonT71 Because Friends, Cheers, Seinfeld, Frasier, Will and Grace, and Big Bang Theory (🤮), get talked about more, and Scrubs was and is better than all of them.
@@LemonT71 Where I come from(India),only shows like FRIENDS,TBBT,The Office,B99 are talked about so much. Shows like Arrested Development,Always Sunny or Scrubs are never/rarely discussed. Don't know about other places.I know it's atleast popular in the US.

@Gray Mid Also Scrubs is million times more funnier than any other US sitcom outside of Always Sunny and Trailer Park Boys (though that’s a Canadian show). Friends could be funny at times but Scrubs outdid Friends all the time.
The people that watched Friends were more interested in watching the relationship of the characters rather than to have a laugh.

Pretty embarrassing for the interviewer to get something like the number of seasons wrong, but Zach being a professionally smoothly moved right past it and didn't even acknowledge the mistake, class act right there.
How? He's one of the kindest, most genuine, respectful interviewers ever, all he did was say that the show went for 9 seasons and then asked Zach if that was right.
