I’ve been trying to do this as fast as you for months and I finally heard the part where you said “jump”. I immediately conquered it afterwards. Goated tutorial.
I think something always missed with learning the chop for beginners is theres a slight outward movement with both feet right before the cross like a figure of eight helps with the rhythm and the arms are important also its like side ways jogging skipping with rhythm the arms go 1,2,1,2 back foward back foward. I i think a lot of experianced skaters kinda forget some important steps because there so far removed from the beginning I'd say be comfortable skating backward, bubbles is something i learned in the first week, the mind muscle connection for chopping takes a bit longer be comfortable on you edges and one foot is also something taken for granted

Best tutorial I have seen so far. I watched a couple and nothing close to this. Thank you. Now let me see if I can execute.
The chop step seems to be a uk staple. I feel like i would hit a rock while lifting a foot up. Such a strong move for backwards skating.

Nice video, very helpful. Maybe next time put closed captions a little higher. They’re cut off from the overlay on bottom

Do you want wheels with some grip for this? Are vanathanes good for this?

Can anyone offer me any advice between Bauer xls and xlp I’m trying to decide are there any major differences
Practically no difference xlp is just the newer model iirc
Thank you! Can’t find much info about Bauer quad skates online

I have XLS and they are pretty comfortable to if you ask me. I would say email or call Oli skates. They are super helpful. 👍🏽
The only differences are the colour and the XLS has a felt inner sock and the XLP has a fleece inner sock.
