As a 250, lame then hot on the pipe, as a 350 it gets on the pipe way quicker. Honestly though, keeping it on the pipe as a 250 is a lot of fun.

I wasn't sure if you were replying to messages.
Cool! That's interesting & I know exactly what you mean, you have to work a little more with the 250 which is a blast plus only a 5-speed box.
I see you have a good set of pipes, not those trash useless DGs. What brand are those?

The bottom end is actually a RD250 (with DS7 covers) so it's a 6 speed but either way it was fun to keep in the powerband with the 250 top end. I swapped to a 350 top end that was worked by Chuck Quenzler/Team Sream at the end of last season. Totally agree on DGs after seeing some of those cut apart.. The pipes are stainless Jim Lomas street/race.

      @@1995naSTA Awesome👍.
I was on the phone with my Jolly Moto rep last week and shockingly, they do not make pipes for air-cooled RDs, only the LC so Lomas shall be the next best thing.
Those look (&sound) super in stainless!

@RA31A Nice. They're worth it. You may have already guessed but the center stand and mounting tabs need to be removed to fit them and the kick stand needs some work to clear.
