For those who are thinking his voice sounds bad or misplaced, think again: You may not like it, but his voice is a very spot on baritone voice. It's a very deep and rare voice by opera standards. Mozart had some pieces with this deep manly voice as the main voice (look for "Isis und Osiris"). It's pretty technical and different ;-)

Years later, I still can't get over how insanely good Christopher Lee was at everything, but his singing voice was out of this world. The way he belted out those notes at 3:19 is mind-bogglingly insane. I mean, Fabio Lione is still one of the most impressive vocalists out there but I think even he could admit that the real star of this was Sir Lee and not just because he was a legend.
@@MultiKamil97 you're definitely wrong. Fabio Lione is an operatic tenor, he can impose his voice in a classical manner, and hit the tenor high note that you hear by the end of the song. Check the Stand Away song from Angra, the version he did with Tarja Turunen, and you'll understand what I'm saying. Also, Christopher Lee's voice is clearly an operatic high bass (he could do baritone, I guess), so he couldn't possibly reach that note with that imposition.
Especially considering his age. If I have his age, and still had a voice like his, I'd be more than glad. I don't even have a voice like his right now, and I'm only half his age. :-(
This just made me cry, it seems so fitting to listen to after his passing. Sir Lee was, in many ways, a wizard of many arts. I grew up seeing all his old films, marveling at his charisma and the power his voice alone held on any who heard it. He was a man that lived the fullest life and more, experiencing so much and bringing to the world even more through his vast talents. It saddens me to know that he, like so many greats, are gone, but his memory is eternal in both song, film, literature, and history. We can all only hope to be a fraction as great a man as he, to live our lives to richly with experiences that resonate for years to come. Sleep well Sir Knight. May your voice carry across the great unknown and may you reunite with friends once gone.
Beside the great Christopher Lee, this song will always remind me of Alan Rickman, for some reason. May their soul rest forever in peace. I will always there fighting the ancient sin, with them by my side.
Aside from both being English, they both were incredible actors who frequently played villains/heavies and had powerful, compelling voices. It's fair to say there's some reason for comparison (and they're both in my top 5 male actors- with Lee being #1- for similar reasons).
It's a term to describe a villain or antagonist who has a large impact on the story and drives the plot. They don't have to be the main villain, but the heroes have to deal with them more and they get more screen time (think Saruman for Lee, Snape for Rickman; another classic example is Darth Vader).

You were a truly rare and special man and will be sorely missed
Sir Christopher's VOICE!!! I should not be surprised- he had the vocal acting skills that many operatic baritone/basses could only dream of. Rest in Hallowed Memory.
We made the version in Italian with my conservatory students. It was very moving.....
Crying right now. RIP, Sir.
SkyforgedJewelry Me Too,Unforgetablle!!

Sir Christopher Lee. Una verdadera leyenda.
This is a wonderful Masterpiece. Rest in Peace, Sir Christopher Lee ❤
A freaking great song. Both vocalists are brilliant. Sir Christopher Lee is an absolute legend. Sadly missed.
What a marvelous song. What beautiful voices. Magnificent.
_Saruman, Dracula, Conde Ducan..._
Cara... T_T
"Tudo que é vivo morre..."
*R.I.P Christopher Lee*

Beautifull! Pure ART. Lione is magic
Imperdonable no haberte conocido antes como cantante, lo q me he perdido!!!!
In his 90's with a voice like that! I miss him, the best baddie ever! Just an emensely talented actor!
Christopher you will always be my favorite actor and
Musician
(Gracias Luca Turilli).
I would have been stoked to have Christopher Lee sing alongside me to one of my songs.
Christopher Lee said that he loved symphonic Metal.
Noooooo! RIP Count Dracula, Saruman, Count Dooku, Scaramanga, Jinnah, Lord Summerisle - Sir Christopher Lee
ANGELS ARE CALLING
FROM DIVINE LOST CRYSTAL REALMS
RIDING FROM HEAVEN
FOR THE MAGIC OF THE WIZARD'S DREAM
I will never forget the feeling when I bought the album new and first heard Sir Christopher's voice. Such a perfect fit for the Enchanted Lands stories.
3:20 The way Christopher Lee sings "realms" in "crystal realms" where he not only sings fortissimo but also pushes his voice up a few tones around 3:22 gives me instant goosebumps and tears in my eyes. Rest in peace, legend! 🙏
Sir Lee an angel for me himself.. Chased Nazis SOE ./SAS operative , polyglot erudite humble and good man besides his career in movie industy. Wish I` we met him and learned something from him. People like him are very rare today. True knight and gentleman .I miss him. RIP MAESTRO!
3:20 that high is from christopher lee? dude... fck legend
I really wish it's him but it's unlikely he can go that high when 83 years old. Still I wish it's him.
Coverwatch it’s very likely that Fabio did it...
Probably Fabio, who's also pretty incredible at operatic vocals.
I always thought it was Christopher. It sounds like him and I really wouldn’t put it past him to have an exceptional range
I was in a Rhapsody's concert, and Fabio plays with the crowd with that voices game, the same as Freddy Mercury did, at the end of the game, he gave us just that the same high!! Luca simply said! "Fabio is an awesome singer"
Brilliant song. When Sir Christopher Lee started singing he literally grab my heart. R. I. P. [*]
You fools, he just returned to his castle in a coffin full of transylvanian soil to replenish his body with strenght and vigor. His presumed death is just a cover. May you return and come haunt us one more time, immortal one.
I wish this would be the truth. This would be so nice ...

Why this date?
This is utterly badass and beautiful all at the same time. What an honest to God legend. You've earned another white robe now Sir, fit for a Knight in Heaven's service. Willing to bet even Saint Peter asked for an autograph. Rest easy Sir Lee.
Sir Christopher Lee, you have been, and always will be my hero and Jedi.
Man. Lee's voice is so commanding. It makes you listen to what he's saying and actually be a little afraid of it.
