These fingerpicking videos are really teaching me something other than fingerpicking! Although they are of course teaching me that. I can start to see different various and choices in playing a song-- a chord here, fingerstyle there, chucking there. I took some in person lessons that just finished which I learned a ton. One that confused me was some of the "why" are we playing this song this way not some other way-- especially with the timing. I asked some other online uke spaces, and the responses were more confusing and some of them flat out condescending. The way you explain some different choices is helping me learn some of that (for example the DDU = 1 beat). Long story short all the variation helps with beginner versus intermediate versus more advance playing style. So, I feel I can still play a harder song in a more basic way. And come back to it when I know more and play it in a more advanced way. Thanks, as always, for your helpful videos!

Please do a tutorial for "Something" written by the brilliant George Harrison. A song called "the greatest love song ever written" by Sinatra. So the next time someone comes over and sees my ukes hanging on every wall in my house and says "play something" but doesn't have a suggestion, I can be a bit snarky and play "Something".

The original is in F major, but I transposed it up a whole step to make the chords more accessible for someone that does not want to play barre chords. The version in F would require the player play a Bb barre chord.
