I'll admit, an odd spot considering dust and pebbles. Maybe a pod filter water shield. My 02 Pontiac Grand Prix GT has the PCM inside of the air intake filter box. It allows the PCM to have constant air supply for the purpose of keeping the PCM cool so it won't over heat. We both have GM's, so I'm sure even 18 years later that they kept that "idea." I would also like to say the amount of electronics today use/demand more energy, pumping of the heating aspect.
I cant believe the computer is under the fender, what if you hit a car on your fender side? Seems like it should have been inside the cabin. It was a bad engineering decision

Yea I saw that too, so I reached out, and they said up to 11HP.

Yea, I was surprised as well that the computer was there.

Yes, I’ve actually been thinking about getting a 6in lift.
