You have people that are saying "I guarantee it will suck." Meaning that they haven't seen it yet, they're just betting it will suck. Then you have the people who've actually seen it saying "It's actually preety good." I think I'll listen to the opinions that matter on this one. The ones of people who've actually seen the movie and not the people who seem to be biased against syfy or the concept of the movie as a whole.

The movie is incredibly good. It affected me deeply

It was a little predictable at first but the ending was awesome
The ending was horrific imo.

Why this is stupid, and it will suck:
1. They have a device that can record memories, yet he is afraid of losing his memories.
2. They can clearly reconstruct his entire body from a frozen mess, yet the rest of their technology is apparently unchanged.
3. Zero effort was made to represent any real change in styles or culture over what must have been significant time.
4. If they can record human memories, such complexity strongly suggests they have General Artificial Intelligence and probably mind uploading.
5. If the above is true, why bother making a flesh body for him that, apparently, rapidly degrades forcing him to try to save off his memories?
6. Oh, yeah... also, it's by 'SyFy', as in SyFalys, the science fictional venerial disease you get from watching bad cable channels.
Yeah true , like why use a fleshy body when those idiots can actually have the tech to bring back somebody from the dead (although i think the guy is just a clone or something) ...and the antagonist is....probably some rich dude who wants that tech aswell....fucking generic why cant these guys be more creative like the Angel of death himself is hunting the guy for cheating death
