    as a suggestion,,,if you are working alone and in a maybe area where you might get hung up, carry a log chain in the floor under your feet. When you get stuck, dont make it worse by spinning tracks and getting deeper. Unhitch from your cutter, unplug the hoses,,,and back out. Most times that ive been stuck, i was only stuck about 6-12 ft in a mess. Harder ground was nearby but i couldnt get there. Back out. Then with chain, hook to your implement and drag it out to solid ground, then hook up again. Lotsa times if you will take the extra weight and burden off your machine, it can drive itself out to solid ground. Saves the day for you and you can continue to get the job done,,,,good video,,,thanks

      That is a great idea! I always try to be very careful about where I put the machine, but one day, I am going to get stuck. I always have chains back at the truck, but I never have one onboard with me. Thanks for watching and for the tip!

      Yes, definitely. They each have their place, and for us, a heavy duty brush hog was best!

      That's odd that you think that , I honestly thought a blue diamond extreme duty disc mulcher would a million time's more efficient for this type of job, seeing how you don't necessarily need a finish type of look for overgrown property you just needed to be able to show the size and contours of the property to potential buyer's. Not to mention a lot of what I seen was way bigger than a typical brush mower should've been trying to cut. Back in 2020 I was hired to do a mile and half a long a creek bottom with a extreme duty brush cutter made by wood's and that thing was practically junk by the time I was finished and the whole job was consistently inch and half up two inch devil's thorn brush/tree's about 15ft tall. Literally shake the whole skid steer when it would hit the limbs! Cat 299XP high flow!

    Hey when you hooked up the brush cutter for the 1st time did you have any issues with it going into high flow? I have the T76 with the same brush cutter but I can’t get my machine to go into high flow. It’s for sure a high flow machine I verified through bobcat.

      Yeah that was a big negative for me once we bought our machine. A lot of the advertised features were not “turned on” and need to be paid for. I really don’t like how they deceive people like that.

    • @NKLandscapingLLC
      @NKLandscapingLLC  ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest, aside from roading the machine, I rarely ever use the high range. In low range, the T66 is pretty fast to begin with, especially compared to other tracked machines. We got the 2 speed because it is a fairly common option, and figured that it wouldn’t hurt to have, but I dont think that its a huge necessity.

    • @NKLandscapingLLC
      @NKLandscapingLLC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Our T66 has just about 500hrs on it. Havent had any issues like that yet, but we did have a few issues in the first 50hrs when we first bought it. Leaking valve cover and EGR, which was replaced under warranty, as well as an issue with the touchscreen where it would constantly reboot while the machine was running. That was fixed as well.
      Aside from that, my only issue with it now is that the cab leaks a lot of water, especially from the back window, and front door, which makes the interior of the cab smell pretty weird. Like I've said in previous videos, this machine is a lease and when the lease is over, we're most likely switching to Kubota.

      I had Bobcat bring me out the T76 and I operated it in the rain for two days and no leaks. But I too wanted to try the Kubota and I did. Not under hi flow conditions. Ultimately I decided to go with the bigger T770 with the Blue Diamond severe duty brush cutter. Another reason I went with the 770 is that a good friend of mine has a 880 with a ton of attachments that I can rent from him. Good luck I liked the video!

    • @NKLandscapingLLC
      @NKLandscapingLLC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is not a huge leak that I have, but enough to make its way down to the floor and keep the floor damp, which ends up smelling after a while. I honestly do like the machine, but it does have its quirks. Ultimately I still do want to switch it out for a Kubota when our lease is up on it.
      Thanks for watching!

      Everybody would price it differently. You have to find your operating cost, figure out what you need per day and your minimum. Maintenance costs, fuel.
      My minimum to get to a job would be $500, my day price would be $2000 for one man one machine. Job site within 30 mins from shop.

      @right8630 It can be extremely dangerous since the glass doesn’t provide much protection if a stick is thrown backwards. I always make sure to keep the rear of the cutter deck down below the window, and angled down towards the ground, but it is still very risky.

      I know you want a Kubota next but do you feel the T66 with hi-flo was the right "tool" for the job with this brush cutter or do you feel like you needed more HP? I have a T 66 now with standard flow but I don't think I want a bigger machine, but I do think I would benefit more to have the hi-flo. Would love your insight.

    • @NKLandscapingLLC
      @NKLandscapingLLC  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @allthingspowersports5955 high flow is definitely necessary, no matter what machine we end up with. The high flow allows for such a faster recovery time on the brush cutter, so you can munch heavy brush and not bog down.

      @sjohnson9230 Spot on! We NEVER bid by the hour. Every single job is priced by the job. The quoted job gets done exactly as specified in our estimate, for the cost written on the estimate. Doesn’t matter what we do on site, or how slow/fast we work. The quoted job always gets done for the quoted amount.
      This protects both our company, and the client. They get exactly what they want at the price they already know in advance.
