    Hey whirly, I love your Videos thanks for All your insights. I am celebrating that you are the only reviewer mentioning the elephant in the room the 150ms latency from the drone to the dji fly app! We really need goggles 2 Support for the mini 3 pro from dji! Because the mini 3 would be a stellar cinewhoop or close poximity Flyer. I hat limited sucess straping a analog camera and vtx to the mini2 (caddx ant + runcam tx200u + 180 mah 1s lipo) no inferferance between mini 2 and analog 200mw Feed, even though both run on 5.8 GHz.

      Thanks. Despite the latency, when the Goggles 2 are compatible with other DJI camera drones, there will be lots of sales.

      @@WhirlyBloke I was thinking that the latency is created within the DJI RC because of the Android Operating System since this is not developed for minimal latency). I always thought since the Mini 3 features Occusync 3.0 it should be possible to get the same 40ms latency like the avata with googles 2 what do you think?

      @@FlyingBeeFPV I've never measured the O3 latency on a Mini 3 or Mavic 3 but it's much better than the O2 or the older Lightbridge. What really matters is the end-to-end latency which includes the whatever the phone contributes. Agreed, the phone will contribute way more that the native O3 especially is you've got screen recording on. 😀

    Nice video, thanks for taking the time to make it! I’m debating getting these for my DJI Phantom 3 Advanced. I have a pair of DJI V2 goggles that I use for my other quads, but I don’t believe that I can use my V2 goggles with my Phantom 3?

      Correct. The P3 is Lightbridge 3 and there's no goggles that work with that. Something like DroneMask 2 is your only option.

    hi, I use the mini 3 too but I'm a little worried about flying over water, is there a height level marker ? 10 foot maybe ? There's a few lakes near me so little bit nervous in that respect,.....thoughts please ? oh can you still record when using them ? and thanks for making this video, btw.. I own both the RC controllers, one with screen other without.

      Flying over water is fine. Just keep it above 2-3m, and you should have no problems.

    Does the screen looks bigger larger than in a DJI goggle?

    • @WhirlyBloke
      @WhirlyBloke  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's as big as your phone which is generally larger than DJI V1 and V2 Goggles. Goggle 2 is very different cos it's 2 separate displays.

    First, I want to say I do love this channel a lot. As far as this product it’s complete garbage. There are many many goggles that are far better and come with a controller so you can click on whatever you need to click on (because you inevitably will have to) and having to open up the goggles every time to click on to any thing is ridiculous. Also at $190.00 for goggles that other companies have been producing for years now and are far more inexpensive. Then this company has the audacity to claim that they came up with this product? They can’t come up with a product that has been out already for nearly 9 years now. It’s nothing against this channel or Whirly Bloke, it’s this particular goggle company that has me see red.🤷🏻‍♂️🙂👍💯
