I have 6 DJI drones. The Mini 3, Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro, AIR 2S, AIR 3, DJI FPV Drone. I have the DJI Integra Goggles Motion 2 Combo. I just got the Autel Evo Lite + a few days ago, & would love to be able to fly FPV like I can with my Integra Goggles & Mavic AIR 3..
That's what I thought when I first heard about them. But honestly, the quality is very good, especially the lens. It wouldn't surprise me if the lens was more than half of the cost of manufacturing these.
I thought people stopped using these a few years ago shortly after they came out. If you use these to fly your drone it voids your warranty. Just a tip.
Interesting. I, however, am in the opposite camp. I have a pair of cheap goggles and find them a challenge. I'm using them to drive an FPV buggy. I have to open the hatch of my SUV and sit on the back edge as the goggles tend to make me dizzy. I am looking to switch to a small monitor/ screen that mounts to my transmitter.
Yeh, a lot of people agree with you saying these are expensive. I thought so, too, before I got them. But after using them, I've changed my mind due to the quality and comfort. It's a good buy for people who would like to experience fpv and have a gps drone. Before spending alot more and getting a full fpv kit. I've not actually tried the head tracking yet with my Avata I must try that. 👍
Brilliant mate, looks a great bit of kit that! Lots of uses ! Great review , Noah did a great job too! How does it work with VLOS , same as fpv goggles , with spotter mate?
Dont you get the sensation that you wantbto turn your head or body with the Movement if the Drone , does it take long for eyes to adjust once its removed ?
Yes, most glasses will work with these. It will work with the Atom but the only problem is that Potensic use a proprietary USB cable. They way around that is to join a double-ended usb c to the cable supplied with a USB c male to female adapter. I will try this soon and will make a video flying the Atom with the DroneMask2 👍
What about astigmatism?? I’m guessing that they haven’t compensated for that but always worth asking. I didn’t know whether to ooo and aahhh or giggle when you put them on 😂 And we see your son has his safety headgear on to protect him from getting knocked by dad’s latest drone gadget. 😉
I have mild astigmatism, and my wife has it worse than me, and the whole screen is clear. The lens is of high quality. I'm not sure how they have made the lens so good, as on my Dji goggles integra, the image is blurry around the edges. I'm guessing that's because of my astigmatism. Ha ha ha, yes, Noahs helmet is protection from all of my drones 🤣
Try to make this yourself for $179 It's expensive because, 1. It was designed in Norway 🇳🇴 a rich country with high wages. 2. The overall quality is excellent, especially the lens that has a patent. 3. The company has to make a profit 📈 after all of the design and manufacturing costs. You could get Chinese goggles, but I'm betting they won't be half as good as these. 👍
Very good video, I have the dronemask 1, i was going to use it with my mini 2 but been a bit hesitant about using it as it doesn't have the flaps and I can't get to the phone without unzipping it. Great review. Are you going to buy the Avata 2 next? I just got my Avata 1 Explorer combo but not flown it yet. I'm thinking of getting the Avata 2 and using the integra goggles and my controller 2 instead of buying everything again in a combo. Well done again brilliant review mate. Loving your channel. 😎
Why would it be a scam? They are just a small company who have made a great quality product 👌 They sent it to me to test, so I made an honest video about it. At the end of the video, I did say that I thought it was pricey, but after doing some research, the price actually seems reasonable. As for the affiliate link, what's wrong with that? Yeh, this will work. It's good that you can use this with any drone that uses a phone 👍
These are way to expensive for what they are.
That's what I thought when I first heard about them. But honestly, the quality is very good, especially the lens. It wouldn't surprise me if the lens was more than half of the cost of manufacturing these.
I agree
I thought people stopped using these a few years ago shortly after they came out. If you use these to fly your drone it voids your warranty. Just a tip.
Why would it invalidate the warranty, because how would they know that you've used the goggles while flying?
Bit embarrassing going out with them on Robin?😅
Ha ha yes ita like them old-school thick milk bottle glasses that make your eyes look massive 😄
@@RobinDronesIf drone pilots didn’t get enough peeping Tom accusations, flip that flap up and everyone in this hobby are f’d lol

No these aren't waterproof

Yeh, that is an issue for some people feeling dizzy
/motion sickness 😷
The main thing i like about dji goggles is head tracking.
These would be ok if they were cheaper.
Yes if its cheaper okay, but than I pay more the original DJI googels and i can use ist for several drohnes.

Yeh, great bit of kit to experience fpv flying without having to spend alot of money buying all of the gear. Yep, same rules - need a spotter 🫤
Dont you get the sensation that you wantbto turn your head or body with the Movement if the Drone , does it take long for eyes to adjust once its removed ?
No, I don't get that sensation to move with the drone.
It's fine switching between the goggles and your eyes. Mine adjusted instantly.
Great video, thanks!
Can you use this with your Potensic Atom?
Will glasses fit, can you were glasses inside?

Doesn't look like that cable will work for the Potensic Atom.
It comes out on the bottom of the controller and it should be fine. I just looked at mine.
@@mrdeadworry oh I see, your right. I was thinking the connector was inside the little pocket on the right🤣

You should get a Dji instead, way better all around.
