Good point Ben, never thought of it in that way and hopefully when its warmer I'll be putting that to the test...no more aimlessly going around in circles over a supposedly wreck mark like an idiot.

No worries Steve, we've all been there. There's one wreck near me that I used to have saved on my fish finder then I reset it by accident and couldn't find it again 😂

Interesting video, those deep spots must be great holding spots for fish. Out of interest how close to shore can it pick up deep spots? I'm guessing everything would be out of casting distance unless up the river🤔
Yeah it's great for finding them. Down our way it's very shallow so your right nothing is really in casting distance. Down Cornwall south west there maybe some as they got some deepe marks

I used a green screen and uploaded a static image of a phone and just put the video inside of it.

Thanks for watching, yes it uses your location and you can set it to track your position. Perfect for setting up a drift over a wreck! You can also saves these tracks and export them, or set routes to different marks... It's really really useful.

How you find the Honwave? Is yours a 3m or 3.5m. My mate loves dropping Bass on the tubes and wonders why it's gone a bit soft.. ffs
@@dpdhogan mines the 3.5m ally deck. I love it just the right size I wouldn't want any bigger because of the weight! Yes I've had a couple punctures but not from fish, I caught mime on side of a wall when carrying it stupidly... What size is yours?

Does Navionics work on Android phones, and without a subscription...? Thinking of getting it for next year, and on a new phone which will be an Android phone...
You can get it without a subscription but it will not have relief shading. I use it on an android phone 😊

Hi Ben, i got the Navionics app on my phone now, can you tell me how to measure the length of a wreck or mark etc or distance, i am not sure how to do it many thanks..
There is an icon in the bottom right hand corner it, click that and then drag the two lines apart. 👌

Do this relief shading show me the buttom surface in depth around 500 and 1000 feet deep sea salt water ?
How must i mention them wben buy it tgat i need a small chip for my androit phone .
Hi, I've not used it in that depth so I cannot comment sorry.
Lowrance has the worst costumer service of any unit on the market if have trouble your in a fix trying to deal with costumer service
