Awesome! Ty for the info I have a big beautiful Thi. I was afraid to cut it now I'm not. Is it ok to do it in winter? How long do u keep in water before putting in moss? Ty so much!
So glad this gives you the confidence! Just include the node, and the adventitious root! We do water overnight, then into damp moss for 6 weeks or so! Should be fine in winter as long as temp above 70f and light hours 12+
I love all your videos. Thank for responding. I have a Thai constellation that have root rot. I cut all the rotting part. Soak in hydrogen peroxide and plant it back but a week later it rotting again. I later do the whole process but potted in moss and perlite but rot again. Now it’s in water. What should I do?
It’s likely in too much of a moist media. It’s super important that the Thai, in particular, avoids wet feet. You have to get it into a media like Leca /perlite or perlite, or Bark with perlite to begin regrowing healthy roots! We have a new video coming on Saturday for specific care on the Thai Constellation 😄
Thank you so much for responding. I did bought the Leca kit from your website. So in Leca do I use the nutrient water and how about perlite. Just perlite and water? Yes! I can’t wait to watch the video. Trying to rescue this expensive plant. So stressful! Thank you so much for all your videos. I watch all of them!
Congrats on 2k - love the content
Thanks Seb!
Omg that's a beautiful plant
