    Hey Bo!! I love all of the Fishing Planet videos. I’m currently level 31 and I’m at St Croix and I love catching the pike. Sometimes I even go back and watch some of the first beginner series videos just because I love them so much!!

    After some testing Thora 9'6", hornetswarm 4000, Braided 009 with a 3/4 #3/0 casting spoons work fine for me, all accessible at level 30 or before. Once gets to level 31, I switched the lure out to jerkbait 1 1/2 #6/0 which work better, attract fish faster, bigger fish. (also don't forget that titanium leader, using 18.7lbs one)

    little late but frog works good for me as a lure for pike, can get by the lily pads and most of the time you actually catch uniques through the lily pads

      after a bit more fishing, Slimy Crank lure 12ft works absolute wonders as well

    If you have a 20+pound bait caster setup you should grab the medium red tiger spoon and go to the place bo’s fishing and just start carrying anywhere and you’ll most likely catch them almost every cast

      Does 15 pound bait caster or 20+ pound spinning work?

    • @TristonMyran

      @@sarquemtashzid8027spinning should work as long as it can keep up with the weight of the pike there

      The red spoon always turns off for me on the cloudy days, usually I'll switch to the silver or shiny silver 6 ft. crankbait on cloudy days. On sunny days I'll use the chartreuse spoon and on partly cloudy days the red spoon hits pretty consistently.

    My preference is a 5/0 hook if you're fishing for money. i usually fill up my keepnet by noon on a good day but dont get too much xp. great video btw!

    Hey, I know this is a old thread but I'm at the exact spot, with a match rod with large minnows and I caught two trophy clear muskies, and it took me awhile, and then the bottom rods started ringing, I filled up my keepnet of 551lbs , quick good looking out 😂

    lures i had luck with in saint croix are the 6/0 spinner and the 5/0 demon frog from the hallowween event it also works great for bass at everglades

    hi i have questions abt the rod u use, are you catch unique pike with ardix? because now i have better ardix above that and it's hard to catch 20lb trophy pike, The fish always pulls very far, and it is very difficult to change the distance even a little, but instead pulls it further, this so stressful its not getting closer, Even catching the trophy is difficult how abt the unique one, is it still possible or the way I pull my fishing rod is wrong? since there is no max drag i think

    • @BoAngles
      @BoAngles  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes- some of the heavy uniques will put up a huge fight. I know in livestreams on some of those lighter rods, we’ve lost a few, but not many. Just following them along the bank and reeling in any slack you can muster, eventually works for most. But it ends up being worth it for that big XP and $

  • @ChaoticMisfit
    @ChaoticMisfit ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I hooked a 9lb Pike earlier tonight and it ran me out 500ft... Meanwhile catching trophy's that don't even get close to 200ft... The logic sometimes is just mind blowing lol

      This game has very realistic stamina physics so not every singular fish of the same species will take you out the same also even of the same species in this game the fish have different aggression so not every fish of the same species will fight you the same thats why this game is talked to as the most realistic fishing game especially for being free

    I was wondering, I grinded from level 20 to level 30 in Emerald Lake on the Walleye’s and Northern Pikes and managed to gather $300k
    now I’m able to get onto Saint Croix Lane and was Wondering for the best set up for my level so I wont need to struggle with fish! Many thanks!
