yes, its done in survival and contraptions that are useful in the game. its not clickbaiting creative only contraptions that are basically useless like you find on most videos. this is how create should be done
Thank you for such a kind comment :) I always try my best to put out the most useful videos I can and knowing people are learning and enjoying them makes it all worth it!
Pretty sure you can put filters in filters, so you could blacklist chocolate with a filter, then add create items in a filter. Then add both filters to a filter. (If it even causes an issue)
Oh wow, I had no idea! Ill have to give that a go with a blacklist filter for chocolate with a whitelist attribute filter inside of that. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@RagePlaysGames I've tried doing this myself but I can't get it to work at all, have you gotten it to work with a blacklist filter and an attribute filter inside a regular one and could you share how you made that work?
@@Atom-xi7qv Yea I can't get that to work either. I can blacklist *categories* and whitelist *categories* within one attribute filter. That works. But I cannot blacklist and whitelist within a *regular* filter. Eg. Using an attribute filter to make a whitelist plus a regular filter to make a blacklist - and then putting both in a regular filter - doesn't work. The result will be a filter that accepts ALL things except the blacklist. The overarching filter *sees* that the blacklist filter said it was okay to accept ANYTHING not on the blacklist, so it just follows that, unfortunately. This is a problem for me, because I want to prevent dried kelp from entering a food chest. But it shares the same categories as all other food. The ONLY way I have found to get around this, is by listing out every single item I want on a big long whitelist instead. It's more tedious for sure, but it gets the job done. I can put filters inside filters - whitelists alongside whitelists - and it works. The main culprits that are a headache to make filters for are ORE chests and FOOD chests. That is when you will see a lot of overlap with other mods. THAT is when you will have to make these big long whitelists.
I freaking love this series! And your Mekanism and Botania series. And honestly, all your “Surviving With” series. Fantastic to follow when learning a mod! Love what you do. Love your presentation style. You explain things very well, the videos are half let’s plays and half tutorials, and you don’t overdo it on the editing or the “TH-camr”-type presentation with exaggerated voices. Honestly, I just love your videos, and you deserve to be more popular.
And 1 more thing: i have a create survival world too and o didn't know what to do, but when I started watching you i knew what to build and now I have a successful survival world.
Thanks, that was awesome! Not the most fun way to make it (let's be honest, everything is better with some spring-loaded platforms), but sure is awesome! :D I feel like Create's sorting systems may be the best out of all mods solely for a reason of being able to sort your storage however you want instead of one window with a search bar and all the stuff messed around
Love your tutorials man, really useful and you’re straight to the point while being entertaining. I’ve been racking my brain trying to find make a storage system with create that’ll sort multiple items into a single chest. Would be very useful when in a mod pack with tens of thousands of blocks and items lol
The RPM ratio is 1 RPM for the belt to 8 RPM for the arm. in other words, just speed up four times so the RPM controller doesn't need to change based of of the belt speed.
This storage system is far better than any vanilla setup because this is both fast and unbreakable, what I mean by that is in Vanilla if a setup develops a backlog of items, all the item filters break and if you make like unbreakable it's cost increases too much... Though I did come up with a vanila sorter that works perfectly in all regards, this is much faster than that so... I don't see any vanila sorting system come close to it
Personally I prefer a revolving carousel, with a conveyor on each level of chests so that the funnels can just grab the item instead of some getting skipped due to the arms moving too slow.
Just made my own setup last night and watched to make sure I got everything right. Only thing I missed was the brass funnels, did not know they were the only thing that did full stacks!
I used the cobble generator to make plenty of sand, then glass. I filled a full double chest in three minute with glass. Then the sand backed up. I will never need glass again, runs low, flip the switch for two minutes. Oh, by the way, Silver fish are a pain in the butt for the mining machine.
Did I miss the part to show how this is powered? I made this and followed the video but I’m 100% new to this. Was super easy to follow with, love your videos but I’n just a little lost…
QUESTION! if you wanted to add more boxes... Would more arms work? Example. If you changed all your filters to only allow cobblestone and then continued the line to make a second section with arm B. Then placed a bunch of sand. Would arm A ignore the sand letting arm B pick it up instead?
I'm half wondering if I could do this on a bunch of Storage Drawers for the giggles of bypassing the nether quartz requirement (probably not possible unless it's a single block drawer).
Will it bug out if the only chest with e.g. a cobblestone filter is already full and put it in different chests or will it just let the excess pass through?
can you help me? I did all the things in the video but my mechanical arm won't put the cobblestone in the cobblestone chest with the cobblestone filter on it and instead puts it in other chests
@@infamousaustin4407 sorry i didnt see your message but you have to put a filter on all the chests so that it won't put items in random chests without filters

You should create an automatic funneling system for all the items from your generators and miners into your storage system. True automation
Useful numbers.
Arm-belt ratio
256 arm
32 belt
Arm range
4 blocks vertical
4 blocks horizontal
3 blocks diagonal

if i want more chests, do i need more mechanical arms?
i cant even select the brass tunnel things
is there a limit to do this? for example i want a chest for Terracotta, for a Stone, for Stone brick and his variants.
Would this still work with the andesite funnels?
Would this work with diamond chests? or does it need to be the vanilla double chest?
Why not try galacticarft?

how do i mkae the rpm thing? like how do i get it to turn
