I love the idea of qualifying for LAN based off consistency, I think you could make it series point based so that if players really need to split up you could find a similar skill teammate and still qualify
Ch3 was actually balanced for comp… everyone gives it a bad rep due to the high dps of the wepons but now weapon like this are normal in the metta no one is even surprised anymore when the new ar has yet another even higher dps. The stinger is also just thrown into reload and we don’t even blink twice. What ch3 did have however was a good shotgun metta every season, splittable poi’s rave cave, sleepy, Beugel, even shifty shaft had the top and bottom. Most importantly however the mobility was balanced… throwable launchpads limited charges in grapples you can get shot out of the mobility with like chrome and stuff too making you be more thoughtful ab rotates and not allowing the rats to run for years w no reason to stop and there was set mobility on the map often making map knolage a skill gap
Ranked cups are the pro-less lobbies the lower tiers tryhard on to feel an achievement. If they actually managed to spread out the prizes (maybe include ranked skin etc. and spread them over the different cups or something along those lines) they might actually have merrit. Could even put in something like top10 of the cup rank up one step. Now couple that with Mero's comments on shit players in the FNCS qual, bump up the requirement to something like Elite rank and account level 100 minimum, and dump the rank-lock on Unreal (People locking in the Unreal rank is creating a suction-effect pulling even more people up in Unreal, let them now be able to rank down from there).
Auto mantel is the worst bug afflicting gameplay more consistently across all skill levels and not enough ppl are complaining about it, manteling is a great mechanic but it should not be happening automatically despite having the setting turned to activate only on jump. AND THIS IS THE CRAZIEST PART rather than fix it they recently added like 3 kore ways to mantle with the little handles on walls as well as readding hurdling
@@Segru so where gonna discredit him because of his input, I don’t think mero is the undisputed goat but there’s a lot more that factors into a set lobby of tier one pros, fuck the lag, fuck the input, what about how well they positioned themselves, their rotations were amazing as he said in the video, yea they pulled zones but they can’t predict that, all they can do is rely on their game sense and position themselves well and they did,everyone in that set lobby could have did the same shit but didn’t.

pretty sure discord has a massive delay considering aussie is well in australia/OCE and leven in EU and in this pod mero in NA so not only discord delay itself and im not 100% sure but there might be a delay just from region ping as they live from all around the world. and thats not counting the caller (when they partake in convo) who could be in NA, ME, OCE EU etc.
